The missing hair benefits Bamber more than hinders him. If it was Neville's the prosecution could claim it got on there on the massacre night. If it was not Neville's, there was still the scratch marks and blood.
Yes - almost too good to be true when you think about it! Paint, blood and hair - it seems like almost too convenient - full-hedge.
The judge said the scratch marks meant the silencer was certainly on the rifle during the kitchen fight. Can you think of any other innocent reason why the scratch marks would end up on the silencer ?
I can´t imagine how that paint got on that silencer innocently. I can´t see how that paint got on it during a fight. As I said, it almost seems too convenient.
Well the relatives would have had to decide quickly to put the scratch marks on the silencer. Together with putting Sheila's blood inside.
There was no point in the relatives giving the police the silencer with a hair attached to it. Unless they actually had a strand of Neville's hair.
Did the relatives and police say their was a hair on the silencer ? The police losing the hair. Was both the police and relatives lying in unison ?
