Jackie.........I believe that somebody with Sheilas mental state is very capable of murder.But I cannot possibly believe for one minute that Sheila was responsible.There is no evidence whatsoever!

Talking about his alibi.  Wasn't that what all the telephone calls were about and the asking police to call for him at the cottage?

Well if he was at whf shooting people then he couldn't have an alibi, so yes I think all the phone call business would have been an alibi of sorts, but placing Sheila as the prime suspect at the same time, sowing the suicide seed.

Absolutely John. I also dont believe that there was any family discussion that night regarding Sheilas boys being fostered.I think she was in too fragile a condition. JM, if to be believed said that when JB phoned her around 10pm,he told her that he was "pissed off".That tallies with the housekeeper who stated that when she phoned Ralph earlier in the evening that Ralph was very "short" with her and she got the impression that she had disturbed an argument going on.I believe that it was JB and Ralph that argued that evening and that was why Sheila appeared quiet and sullen.

Being a newbie I didn't know about the housekeeper Lady Chelmsey.  I think you could be onto something there. I don't believe for a minute that Nevill and June would suggest the boys be fostered away from the family.  If there was any talk about this could it have been that Nevill and June were wanting to take them under their wings??

That certainly makes more sense to me.  I suspect Jeremy wouldn't have liked that at all, his inheritance about to be divided several ways or go up in smoke completely if Nev and June were to take to the boys in a big way.

What about the letter that Colin Caffell sent Neville asking him to speak to Sheila about Colin taking on permanant care of the boys?

That could have been discussed and upset Sheila

It often follow that when a couple alter their wills that they both do it.  I wonder if Nevill was considering the same thing?

It was the secretary who rang and spoke to Nevill, not the housekeeper.

Don't forget that June told her sister that night on the phone that she was worried about Sheila.

Why would Jeremy Bamber, who, we repeatedly hear is an intelligent man,
be such a motor mouth when it came to telling people , "apparently" that he "hated his family",
"could killl his parents", etc, ad infinitum, if he actually was planning to do such a thing?
He would have to be incredibly dim or halfway 'round the bend himself to not realize these
people might come forward if he was ever suspected of committing such an act!

Why would he tell her this if he was planning to murder his family, as JM alleged?

Why wouldn't he tell her?  Telling her that June was considered changing her will is a long way from murdering her.

I've been guilty of mis-using it. Both + and -       I think the applauds can become a bit 'back-slapping' and the smites go through the roof when the facebook croud carry out one of their marauding attacks on the site.  They work fine in moderation.  I think the site evens itself out over the course of time.

I wish he would. Some people seem to be getting a bit obsessed about it. I haven't given anyone any applauds or any smites. It's not a popularity contest.

I have given a looot of applauds and one single smite (to someone who more than deserved it  ).
I am fine with the applauds, but I really think that people have a right to their opinions, whatever they are. as long as they are not being obnoxious about them! You also have to consider, that you don´t know who is behind the screen. Perhaps it is a person who one particular day can shrug the smites off - and another day just does NOT need them, but a pat on the back more than anything! 

It is a bit childish though, as Grahame says - true enough!
