Some of Jeremys supporters claim Jeremy is innocent because Taff Jones believed so.
If that was the case he must have had compelling evidence. So when other people questioned Taff, he could just show them this evidence. Any doubters will then just fall back into line & committ themselves to the murder/suicide theory.
But Taff Jones was taken off the case. So it seems Taff had no evidence. Only a belief that Jeremy was innocent.
Taff refused to change direction despite the mounting evidence and feeling amongst the other officers. He was rightly taken off the case.
If Taff had no evidence of Jeremys innocence, why did he refuse to change direction ? Perhaps it was more work and he preferred to play golf.
Or maybe he did have evidence but the other officers had decided to frame Jeremy.
Or maybe your version of events is bullshit and demonstrably so.
1) Every police officer at the scene that day believed that it was 4 murders and a suicide. Before you ask for a source read for yourself the COLP interviews with EP officers. The question is asked directly and confirmed.
2) If there was no evidence other than Jeremy's word then are you also suggesting that DCS Kenneally when appointed by ACC Simpson to review every aspect of the investigation simply asked Jeremy and Taff before reporting back that all the evidence indicated that Sheila was responsible.
I suspect that Taff Jones, DCS Kenneally and every EP officer present on the day had rather more evidence than just Jeremy's word but that doesn't fit into your simplistic analysis so you just ignore it.
It would also be reasonable to assume that the investigation by Kenneally(withheld still) contains in it evidence that establishes Sheila's culpability or is he as gullible as you believe Taff Jones to be.
