its a load of twaddle if you ask me. lol

Jeremy Bamber showed no signs of brain damage or that his fracture was severe enough to have an affect on his life.  All because he could not be a deep sea diver does not mean he killed his mother because of this; or that its a factor that lead up to her awful death.

The true fact is that no one knows Jack shit!" hahaha  ;D ;D ;D ;D

That's true on both sides but we're all entitled to air an opinion whether others agree or not.

Yes but you appear to know it all and think that your comments have more ground than anyone else's. but that of course is my opinion....of which I am entitled too. I don't mean this to sound nasty but its my opinion. I doubt there is a better way of putting it to be honest.

Caroline for the life of me I cannot understand why you have changed sides...All the arguments now have reversed themselves albeit politely... ;D ;D ;D ;D

Jeremy never admitted to his guilt - or he simply isn´t guilty, so it would not be in his interest to talk about any brain damage (which I have doubts about BTW).

Jeremy has always made it very clear he would NEVER accept any deal allowing him out of prison

So he would never uses excuses for a crime he says he never committed

Of course he says that - because he knows no deal will ever come his way. The HS gave him a whole life tariff.

Perhaps not if they plan to appeal.

what the defense says in migration doesn't necessarily affect the appeal mitigation is not necasrly an admission of guilt.

I don't express myself any different than you do but people are taking offense simply because they don't agree. However, they are free to argue their own stance. I can feel when they are starting to take things personally because the tone of their posts  beings to change (as yours have done). But I have broad shoulders and am used to the negativity and it doesn't bother me anymore.

I have already stated umpteen times why I have changed my opinion and I don't like being mislead - the OS is misleading in respect to the call from Neville so much so that even some newspapers have reported the story incorrectly - and that's not right!

Hi Patti, if it's true that he loved farming so much, why did he want to become a commercial diver?

Talking about farming hardly establishes he liked it.  He did farming work, and thus if he wanted to talk about himself and his experiences that is what he had to discuss.  He wasn't George like Costanza so could not pull off lying about being a marine biologist or something else he wished he was.

Well maybe you should try and make your posts more polite and not take your stance for granted and allow others to voice their opinions without the I know it all attitude.  You are a admin moderator therefore you should be nurture everybody and remain impartial.

Whether or not you have stated umpteen times why you have changed your opinion on Jeremy Bamber I don't know why regardless of the umpteen times I have asked you. I feel that you are not prepared to say why...so I wont ask again.  :)

With respect Patti, when you were a moderator you had an opinion on the case and made sure you voiced it. These people are adults and I am not a nanny - My attitude is no different to yours but I wouldn't speak to you the way you have just spoken to me!! We have been here twice before and perhaps you should practice what you preach! You have always had personal issues with me and like another poster, use the forum to vent them. I suggest if you don't like what I write, you don't read it and also try and remember how it felt when someone was recently rude to you.

What other poster do you refer to? What personal issues? Who are you linking me with? Come on spill the beans.

Yes, I do know how it feels when someone is hurtful towards you. I agree it wasn't very nice when Hartley said some hurtful things to me. But, where were you? What did you do about it? You could have stopped it but you did not, you allowed it to continue. I have known people to banned for far less. Or was Hartley not banned because he is on your side? Who knows?

Ah, now I get it - the other night was down to me even though I wasn't the only mod signed in! It was actually me who intervened first and I did so when I saw it - it was also me who spoke to both YOU and Hartley via PM and you know that. I don't sit online constantly and read what everyone writes but I did react when I saw it and you are always the first one to complain when someone gets banned claiming it was too harsh. I actually thought Hartley was joking when I first read it - but no one can mistake this as anything other than a dig and if you had a problem, you should have PM'd me. Either way though - like I said, I'm used to hostility and I'm not bothered in the least.
