Do we know if he was hospitalized or not,or whereabouts the injury was ? Not that it makes any difference as there's no cure for a brain injury, but just wondered if it had been serious enough to have been x-rayed/examined.

I wouldn't say that greed wasn't the motive. Other factors contribute to why someone is 'able' to kill but they still need a motive.

it sounds more as if the damage to the skull was the problem - it does not say that the brain was damaged in any long term way - does it ? or have I missed something?

My niece suffered a fractured skull - but did not have any brain damage as such that affected her after recovery.

To leave alleged clues such as a " used " silencer, the the phone-call debacle wasn't exactly a cut and dried plan of Jeremys',somehow. Clues which he'd have known would send him down without a cent having been discussed,so there was no greed on his part.He may as well have stood at the front door of WHF and shouted that he'd done it.
He went the wrong way about things if he thought he was going to come into any money.
Jeremy had no motive whatsoever, but by jove Sheila did I'm afraid.

a skull fracture can lead to weakened skull in later life that could of been the problem.

That is probably the problem in connection with the diving. A skull weakened by a fracture, although healed, would not withstand the underwater pressure.

Well, perhaps to dispel the notion of psychopathy (also linked to brain trauma), Jeremy might be persuaded consent to a brain scan? Psychopaths don't react to the same things  or in the same way non psychopaths. It would lay the psychopath question to rest.

I'm not sure what other facts you mean? He suffered a head injury which was enough to stop in qualifying as a commercial diver. All I'm saying is that THI is a risk factor for violent offenses and this together with what could be considered abandonment issues are also points worth of consideration in a guilty v's innocent debate.
I dont believe we have enough information about the nature of the head injury, was it a skull fracture or some other kind of trauma to the skull these would be simply skeletal and therefore have no effect on the brain or was it an actual brain injury which may affect behaviour? I have never heard anything mentioned about JB having a brain injury.??

it doesnt seem to have needed any treatment in later life wich sounds more like a bone injury than a brian injury.

You can have a brain injury without needing lifelong treatment.
