No, I do not believe it is possible to tell from a bullet whether it was fired through a silencer.

This is another "it depends" issue.

A silencer made of wipes that brush against the bullet can leave marks on the bullet which indicate a silencer was used. But some wipes don't leave marks it depends on what material is used inside.

A baffle moderator doesn't touch the bullet to in that case there is no way to tell.

I agree.  The Parker Hale moderator is baffled.

What happened to the fingernail that AE found ? And where was it found ? Was it ever examined for skin ? Because the pathologist had stated that the laceration on Junes' arm had been consistent with someone having fingernails so many mm's over the edge of the finger.

It stands to reason that the nail would have been displaced by the pressure of gouging it in the skin of Neville and June.

What pathologist said June had a laceration from a fingernail on her arm?  What fingernail was found?  I am not trying to be mean but anytime you post it is like you are posting about some different case than the rest of us.

Same case ! Just a different slant on it. This information is somewhere on THIS forum from around 2 years ago. Perhaps I've got a better memory than you have !!

Never underestimate the knowledge that I have !

How easy it is to continue " bashing " Jeremy. He's got his punishment, what more do you want-----blood ?
How about looking in a different direction, like the WHOLE of Sheilas' background for a change ? Then let's see how you do then.

The said fingernail was discussed by Mr Sutherst who'd requested enlargement photographs showing Sheilas' hands and fingernails.

You'll find information on here, headed," Missing Fingernail of Sheila Caffell ".

No doubt you'll pick holes in it because it'll not be your liking. The truth never is,is it ??
