Why did the relatives need a robin to point out to them which window Jeremy had exited through? Why was it bought hook, line and sinker? A robin! Give me a break!!

Alias, don't forget Colin was heavily in to the esoteric.

How many years have you been here? And you're STILL asking that question? It's been explained a thousand times, I don't believe you truthfully can still be asking that question.

Some of Jeremys supporters claim Jeremy is innocent because Taff Jones believed so.

If that was the case he must have had compelling evidence. So when other people questioned Taff,   he could just show them this evidence. Any doubters will then just fall back into line & committ themselves to the murder/suicide theory.

But Taff Jones was taken off the case. So it seems Taff had no evidence. Only a belief that Jeremy was innocent.

Taff refused to change direction despite the mounting evidence and feeling amongst the other officers. He was rightly taken off the case.

If Taff had no evidence of Jeremys innocence, why did he refuse to change direction ? Perhaps it was more work and he preferred to play golf.

Or maybe he did have evidence but the other officers had decided to frame Jeremy.

How did JB know a phone call from his father could not be traced by police ?
Why did no one notice a rifle could not have fallen on SC and stayed in the position EP claim she was found in , these were experienced police officers , not one of them noticed ?
Bullets with different grooves indicating this was a two gun crime !!
Kineally and Taff both believed JB innocent , why ?
Where is Kineally's report ?

I am well aware that these issues have been discussed before.

Although Jeremy denied being able to latch the kitchen (or bathroom) window from the outside, it's quite easy if the catch can drop into place by gravity.

DCI Jones was by no means the only officer who believed Jeremy innocent, but he was presumably better informed than most of the other officers whilst he headed the investigation.

Jeremy might well agree to a brain scan, but such scans detect brain activity and hence wouldn't categorically show whether he had a conscience or whether he was lying.

Even if mike tesko is certain that Jeremy is innocent, inventing extensive discussion with an informant seems a strange way of helping him.

Are you saying he made this up? Or that the relatives put on a show for him?

Not at all. Alias, but having MANY!!! years ago, dabbled, one could find signs in anything or rather, EVERYTHING ;D ;D ;D If the doors and windows had been closed, the robin wouldn't have got in. I don't believe it happened by magic.

Why are you creating another thread on such general issues then which have all been discussed before ?

My threads are more specific, on details. Such as today's threads about Professor MacDonnell and Stan Jones's options with the WHF keys.

What other officers believed Jeremy innocent. Why have they not spoken out ?

Excuse me,Adam. " Taff " Jones was a highly respected man in his field, who'd received 10 commendations throughout his 30 year service with the Essex force. He wasn't just some two-bit cop.

NOBODY knows what confronted him inside that farmhouse--------but there WAS some indication that it was a murder/suicide as soon as he entered the premises. What it was,we might just find out one day,but he didn't make anything up and was so confident of his findings that he went off for a game of golf.

Because the scene had described a murder/suicide,it was June who was the first suspect and headlines were being prepared to that effect until a journalist turned round with news of it having been Sheila,so the headlines quickly changed from " grandmother " to Sheila.

NONE of us know the full story of how it came about that it was murder/suicide. We can only guess as we go along.

It was not Colin who said that a robin showed which window!

Colin´s book, page 173:
"I learnt another surprising story that afternoon. Apparently, only weeks after the shootings, while the family were all at Whitehouse trying to decide which window Jeremy had used to get out, a robin flew in through the back door and landed on the kitchen window-sill.
When Anthony tried to capture it and put it outside, the robin flew past the open door and landed by the scullery window - the other one they had been debating over. On each attempt to catch it the robin flew past the open door and back to the other window-sill. This kept happening until someone voiced the opinion that it might be trying to help them come to a decision. At this point, the robin "left its signature" on the kitchen window-sill and finally allowed Anthony to pick it up and put it outside."
"The really strange thing was," said Anthony, "that after all that chasing, it didn´t struggle in my hands.""

More the family told Colin about a robin, page 193:

"On the morning of the first day of the trial, a robin flew into the house of Karen and David Boutflour. They found it in their living room, singing on top of a glass display cabinet which contained a porcelain robin given to them by Ina and Anthony Pargeter - in memory of their shared earlier experiences."

Taff was taken off the case.

Before this happened, his superiors would have said to Taff -

'So Taff, why is Jeremy innocent? '

Whatever Taff's reply was, it was not good enough.
'Only I know what really happened that night'.

I doubt very much a man of his calibre would make anything up. Certainly not to protect anyone,or he was clearly in the wrong job.

It was a very vulnerable time for Colin, wasn't it. It may have been a question of grabbing on to anything -especially that which seemed divine- which might have provided an answer.

There are four general questions for anyone who believes that Jeremy killed his family.

(1) Why did DCI Jones remain so convinced of Jeremy's innocence even when doubts were raised?

(2) Why did Julie remain by Jeremy's side for weeks whilst suspecting (or knowing) that he was a murderer?

(3) Is it really plausible that Jeremy, if he did kill his family, has a complete absence of conscience and the ability to fool all the professionals who have talked to him to evaluate his mentality, has comprehensively passed a polygraph test, and has convinced mike tesko and various other people that he has talked to extensively that he is innocent of killing his family?

(4) Why has mike tesko (if Jeremy did kill his family) been inventing discussions with informant(s) from EP for years?

(1) another very important piece of evidence witheld for no reason

(2) a major reason for me she lied, she would not have gone to the mortuary or done the NOTW

(3) it seems not a single other prisoner or prison officer has a bad word to say about Jeremy.   I expect they have a good idea he is probably innocent

(4) I don't know? to put the record straight Jeremy thinks a lot lot more of Mike than people think. He told me himself although Jeremy doesn't always like what he hears about the forum.  If Jeremy is released I am sure he will be one of the people he keeps in touch with
