As you appear to know everything/embroider the facts/make it up as you go -please note I refrained from saying you lie- I feel certain you'll be able to say how many rashers he cooked along with how many slices of bread he toasted. Most of us can lay our hands on a jar of coffee. Surely you won't condemn him for that. Breakfast AND coffee. Does that add up to guilt in your eyes?

Now do you imagine that a young man bought up to show a stiff upper lip is going to allow a PLOD to see him cry, apart from which, NOT having to deal with an emotional young man would have made the job of the police so much easier.

 I have no argument with that he was "starving." So are you telling us that you know for a fact there were "several" rashers in the fridge, as opposed to the last one/two in the pack and that there was a whole loaf of bread as opposed to the last crust or was Wilkes not privy to such information.

I wonder if your lifestyle could be a little different from how Jeremy's was. It's very possible that there had been food aplenty at the weekend when Julie was there but I doubt that he'd replenished it since then.
