No offence meant Caroline - but I think this is a pretty accurate description.  That's not to say you shouldn't question and challenge claims that are found wanting.  I do respect that.

I won't be responding to the xxxxxxxx you just quoted. All I will ask is what does it matter what I think? And no, it wasn't an accurate description is simply one you agree with. I will keep challenging things, just as I did when I was on your side.

My point was that being 'well respected' does not necessarily equate to being uncorrupted or beyond the reach of outside controlling forces.   I think that ambition can also spawn a form of 'self-serving'.

Nevertheless, partner agencies within 'the state' often work in unofficial collusion.  I think it's very British not to 'rock the boat'.  For example, I don't believe for one moment that Huntingdon FSS etc. were 'independent' from the police or that the police had no tentacles that reached in to the FSS.  The police / media is the same.  We talk about a 'free press' but it's bullshit really isn't it?

No that's not what I'm stating!  I think you could be reading too much in to the section of handwritten notes made available.  Besides, there are so many cuts, nicks and abrasions, to list them all in minute detail would have been exhausting.  When Vanezis carried out the PM, Sheila was not just the prime suspect - she was the only suspect.

I think Jeremy's defence was woefully inadequate - despite big names being involved.  However I believe the judge led questioning at trial seemed designed to facilitate Vanezis to dismiss the hand-marks represented in whatever form of 'enlarged' photographic images that were made available.  I do not think the jury saw what we have seen on this forum.

Because EP retained control of their own property i.e. the negatives, to present the case as they saw fit, for their own aims.  As I understand it, Bird's photography was not the best.  He mainly took body-shots as opposed to close-ups of specific areas.  But the enlargement of specific areas could easily be carried out by professionals employed by the crown if need be.  I very much doubt that this would remove or undo any of the wounds / marks.  They own the negatives after-all?  There's nothing to stop them commissioning enlargements or a digital enhancements.

As I have said before Roch, unless you post said pictures it's pointless me arguing the toss. Talking of toss, the arsehole said he has pictures which counter yours so why don't you take the debate up with him and you can both argue about how one set of pictures is better than the other. I know what I know, you know what you know and the arsehole ...... well, who cares!!

Anyway, how's the snow on the coast? It's like The Day After Tomorrow' here!  :o

Snow's all but gone here, just an ice-cold wind that's making me feel ill. I've just been in the garden feeding an old stray cat.

Sheila could have easily shot and killed her two children victims - both sleeping!

Just the wind and snow creaking I think. Our lass had to be towed out of a ditch on A19 yesterday 😁

At least we're not having to walk a mile or so for water from a stand-pipe like the 60's when everywhere froze.

Sorry to hear that - just a tip for anybody out and about in the snowy treacherous conditions, particularly anyone stuck in snow trying to get up an incline! Providing that you have got sufficient fuel in the fuel tank, a tyre inflator that plugs into the cigarette lighter, you can easily make most inclines by deflating your tyres, which will provide more contact with the ground (even the ice) and you will be able to creep to the summit of any hill safely! When you reach the summit, re-inflate your tyres using the tyre inflator, and you will be fine! Another piece of advice, is that whilst going down snowy inclines, keep the vehicle in first gear and don't depress the clutch, let the engine speed take you slowly down such inclines (I was engaged as a professional driver for over 18 years and these principles, and practices, got me out of many a sticky situation, I quite literally got where no man (or woman) could normally have been realistically expected to go)!!

Thanks for the advice Mike!  BTW, I think I've received some kind of spam email from you.

Wow! My other half just stayed at a Premier Inn all week near work. We've been pretty much cut off up here - the Spar has been picked clean. Plenty ice lollies left though :D

Have just been looking at what you're experiencing, on the television. Our lanes are similar to your main roads. We're nowhere near as bad as you -it's snowing again now- but it's pretty grim.

It hasn't snowed today but the snow has frozen and there is about a 2" layer of solid ice underneath it. Making a girlfriend for my snowman  ;D ;D
