I had read that is wasn't connected.  If you follow the phone line going from the phone that was found off the hook in the kitchen, the wire leads through what I can make out to be a window of some sort...an adjoining room?....What room backs on to that part of the kitchen?  Please use the slide button to see the wire going through the window....

I am interested in the details of the intimate relatoonship between David Boutflour and Sheila Caffell - whether or not they became lovers, and if any of the abortions / miscarriages related to that relationship? I think June once caught the pair frolocking together in the barn, apparently they were caught making hay while the sun shone...

I'm really sorry Caroline, i didn't intentionally ignore your question, just got side tracked about this photo which was claimed to be a video....

I have no documents to say it was active (none of us have do) but I have read somewhere that it was mentioned at trial and is mentioned in at least one of the books. I have personally seen it and can tell you that Peter and Ann believe that Nevill was trying to get to it because of the positioning of his watch. I don't believe Peter and Ann would make up that story for the hell of it so that is why I firmly believe it was active before the murders.

Well, thanks for answering Vic but I just feel if it was installed pre murders, it would have played a bigger roll and I haven't seen Ann or Peter mentioned it in any statement nor have I seen it documented. I can understand and respect why you hold with the idea but without any other references to it, it makes far more sense (to me) that it was installed after - along with the alarm system. But I would certainly change my view if it is 'proven' otherwise.
