Morning Caroline
quite right not everybody who steals things are murderers and example of this is Julie. I think the whole situation with her got out of hand and she did not leave herself a backdoor and had to go ahead with her story. Although after seening a photo of her after Jeremy was convicted she did not look too upset then again when you have a cheque coming to your for £25.000 why would you be and all criminal charges against you dropped hence the big smile and pose. From what steve has told us about Julie what a good person she was and does so much for Charity that is where the cheque should have gone
Hi Susan,,,very true in what you say about past " crimes " not making them murderers,,but give a dog a bad name and it makes life much easier all round for everyone.
In 1981,,a guy was put in prison ( no evidence whatsoever against his charge of murder ) but because he was notorious in a gang, with a bad criminal background,,he was sent to prison,he's been fighting to be released, the same as Jeremy has,, and has never given up for 32 years.
He,himself knows he's innocent,,along with a few others,,but like JB,,time has gone on,,the officers involved have well retired, left the country or deceased,so everything is left on the back-burner in the hope that these inmates will wither and die.
