Hey Maggie... I think the thread has been split...Not sure why? Are you OK today?
Hi patti the DRH/35 being in the twins and main bedroom is nothing to do with single and double marked bullets, i think i read somewhere about the shooter, shooting june first then going into the twins room and firing x bullets, then firing 2 more shots at june? just a thought
Yes thanks Patti. Just answered bohems'post didnt realise the thread had been split til after I'd posted.
Hi Maggie, I hope I'm not boring folk about these bullets....I'm going to have a nice glass of wine in a bit... :D :D :D
It doesn't bore me Patti, I find it interesting.
Oh maggie, that great....can I use you for a minute. I hope this doesn't upset anyone or you maggie. Imagine that you are in between two beds and facing the wall and, you shoot in a downward position at the pillows from about 1 foot away. How does a whole spent bullet get behind you on the floor.
Don't know Patti, don't know how it could unless it ricocheted off something....doesn't make much sense or it was kicked out of position? Not very good I'm afraid Patti, am a but ignorant about guns, have never handled one or even been close to one in my life.
Hi Patti,,,I think a bullet can ricochet backwards,,,,,if that's what you mean. ?
Hi Lookout, that is what Hartley said, it could have ricocheted off the wall, but would that not cause damage? If the bullet came from am exit wound of one of the twins then how come it landed on the floor, half way down the bed. I will have to check the path report again....
This is why I have never studied the ballistic evidence myself. As EP didn't preserve the crime scene, who knows what bullets/cases got kicked where.Due to this, trying to piece together the chain of events is never going to be entirely accurate.I do however agree with hartley's scenario of how the twins were shot.God rest their little souls.
