Hi maggie, so do I, we are on the same wave length.
The other thing about what curiousessex said was that Jeremy had said he hadn't got a clue about her illness, yet he called her a nutter.. I think this is misinterpreted, in the way that he knew she was ill, but did not thoroughly research her illness to point where he fully understood it. I don't know about you maggie, but I still think mental illness is not fully understood by many...

I agree Patti, I'm sure Jeremy didnt know anything much about schizophrenia, he was 24, no doubt much more interested in his own life and needs than spending too much time wondering about Sheila's illness.
She was a 'nutter' he knew that and had seen her behaviour. If he ever knew she was scizophrenic he would have thought that meant ...split personality loads of people still believe thats what it is.
He called her a psychopath....wrong word but no reason why he should have used that word except in ignorance.
He knows about schizophrenia now but I bet the majority of the population STILL dont know much about paranoid schizophrenia. People are generally ignorant of it because they are scared of it. Its one of the last taboos. imo
