Hi I am not sure that is correct. By law they can only hold him for 90 something hours. They had already stated that on the Thursday, that this would take it to Saturday at 5pm. I don't think a re-arrest is a requirement?

I think the police were getting anxious and tried to push him into some sort of admission by the re-arrest.  I might be wrong.

The fact still remains that the police delivered certain facts to the CPS which in turn made it a murder charge.  We don't know what those facts/evidence is yet...... :-\ ;)

Was not two women who saw a man with a black bag?
I feel he has to plead not guilty tomorrow all be it if he is or not. The police have very little on him and to make a case stick without a body will be extremely hard. This will be interesting tomorrow as it will say a lot about him. If he pleads guilty then why not give up everything about about the case and let the family and community give the little girl the most beautiful and respectful burial they can. Why not let a country disgusted over this crime a chance to at least see the right thing done.

I totally agree with what you are saying here.  If he is guilty I truly hope he does the right thing.

So you are assuming him guilty already?!

Petey if you were to read my posts on this thread you will see that I have assumed nothing, if anything I have defended him as there seems to be nothing against this man.

I am trying to see it from all angles, and also give the police the benefit of doubt too.

That was not his suggestion mate, I just sensed his need for a reason in all this but in no way was he claiming that the guy was guilty.

I apologise if i was mistaken, but to me there was an insinuation that he is guilty.

As in an insinuation that he was somebody with a child offence conviction, who had slipped through the net and therefore was free to attend a school.

Although it is so easy to express anger, hatred etc in such emotive cases such as April Jones, Jimmy Savile, Jeremy Bamber etc, we do need to be careful what we post. Whatever our own individual beliefs he is currently an innocent man and should be treated as such.

I will be absolutely amazed if he pleads guilty tomorrow. If he was intending to plead guilty, then he would have passed on information to the police and April's body would have been found by now.

It just seems completely illogical for him to plead guilty yet not to have told the police where she is.

I agree in cases as emotive as these its hard to decerne about what is right and what is wrong, we have guide lines drawn up for those accused but none for those who are feeling the raft of emotional effects that precede such crimes.
We have to base our out looks upon a combination of both but it is hard, I can't even look at the pictures of April now as they are far too distressing but I can at least consider what has happened and along with oncesaid try and put them into some perspective.

Hi Gordo

I think we have learned a great deal being on this forum and, that is not to jump to conclusions too early in a case that has not even been tried yet.  What we can do of course is follow this right to the end and discuss it as it goes along....We are all human at the end of the day and, my heart goes out to April's family and friends....I do hope they find her. On that note I will bid you all good night....sleep well.  X

Petey there was no insinuation from me at all that Bridger is guilty of anything, I can assure you of that as I would be the last person to accuse someone of anything, and if you have read this thread from the beginning you will see that, but I was being sarchastic, as that is what is usually said when they get it wrong, that they "slipped through the net".

This is in relation to the headline several days ago when police had only a few hours left to decide whether to charge or release.
