Goodness lookout, she must be a an old girl by now. They are lovely when they are old and grey and sit by the fire...is she like that? She must be about 20 that's quite an age. I think my feral cat called Bert was my longest lived, he was 18 when he died. He was born wild but was the softest cat I have ever met. I think interbreeding had left him with very little brain. He was like a stuffed toy who allowed my girls when they were small to put hats on him and put him in their dolls pram. He didn't bother at all just lay there purring!
Hi Maggie,,the cat's showing very little sign of ageing.Just slightly cautious when she does lie down in front of the fire,so a bit arthritic, but apart from that and being minus a fang,,she's brilliant. Hearing great, lovely clear eyes and still very alert. A bit like its mistress. She's the same as the " Felix " cat, black and white, and loves being fussed and spoken to. Very clean too,no accidents. So I'm very lucky to still have her. She eats the Felix Senior pouches, and has treats like salmon, mackerel and pilchards.
Only thing is,she doesn't like children and hides when they visit.
