Hi Mike been to Salou a couple of times in the 80's.  Hotel Princess Cambrills is a nicely situated to the south slightly further south you have Blaines that is a must visit and used to have a good market there...You can walk it of course....Have a fab holiday Mike...

I have fond memories of Blanes,Patti. I stayed in the area for a month in the 90's. I bet it's changed now though. Spent a day at the garden where you get the most fabulous view of the coast and Med.

Hi Lookout....Can't remember the gardens, only the markets....We stayed at Cambrills, just on the edge of Salou, but went down into the hotel International...where they would serve a full chicken, chips and salad on a large wooden household tray....When we first ordered we had one each...lol then got wise that 4 could share it....talk about being bloated...lol

Hi Patti/Susan. Know the feeling Patti,my appetite is hit and miss at times.
Daughter just phoned from Oz. They have a pair of " dragons " in the garden so she's frightened of hanging her washing out,,,so you see,things could be worse here,hahahahaha.

Morning Patti  Highlands very beautiful with snow scattered on the surrounding hills but very very cold bought angora knee socks from M&S yesterday I now look like Nora Batty as they have gone crinkly around my slim legs.  Why have you not eaten that is not good for you little and often is the answer.  Have a good serving of oatmeal yummy.

Just having some Ciro Tomato's with Worcestershire Sauce, Piece of smoked bacon, and an egg dropped in the middle of the tomato on a slice of toast....plenty of pepper.mmmmmm

Hahahaha,I was about to say I'm not even there yet.!

Don't know whether they're Komodo's or Water dragons,but she said she wasn't going outside to find out.She's a coward. Komodo's are venomous,water ones aren't. They'll eat the other crawlies,so good to have. What with that and the cockatoos removing the pegs off her washing.
