Could have had an effect on her....We can't say really.

Yes the Jerusalem is the oldest and the Bee Hive where I used to live is the smallest.....Also in Notts we have the oldest post office.....

Enjoy your wedding...and wine.   ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hi Patti

I've sent the children off to find out about this claim of the oldest inn and the local history.   Perhaps using another definition.

All scrubbed up in a dress.  Just shaved my legs.  Hope the sun doesn't come out and highlight bits I might have missed especially around the knees a notoriously difficult area.  Perhaps if I spent more time praying it would wear the hairs down naturally  ;D ;D ;D.  Punishment I guess.  Spend more time praying fewer hairs on knees  ;D ;D ;D.

On a bottle of Triple by Brakspear.   An excellent beer.  Off to wedding soon.  Doubt there will be any decent ale  :'( :'( :'( Oh well beer then wine you'll feel fine  :) :) :)

Hello N/N so disappointed to hear you have hairy legs do you have hairy arms as well.  Thought nuns had skins as pure as snow just goes to show how wrong I am.  Try to keep the knees covered and do hope you have no fake tan that would highlight the hairy knees Ha Ha Ha ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hi Patti

When you say "lovely little village" you mean the beautiful historic market town of Stow on the wold?

Yes just had a little walk round.  Lovely sunny day.  Moving on to the Slaughters and hope to take in Bourton on the water and Broadway time permitting.  If the children start moaning "it's boring" I will say what I always say that makes them think, tell em I'll put them up for adoption  ;D ;D ;D

The manager at Porch House was impressed with our knowledge of Ye Olde Trip To Jeuraslem.  Apparently the difference is in the definition Ye Olde being a pub and the Porch House being an inn as it has rooms.

If I'm coming to stay make sure you do downstairs too THOROGHLY.  And get the dog shampooed and breath tablets.

Hi Maggie

Yes some of my fave places in England.  Just drove through The Slaughters as there was a wedding fair on.  Bourton on the water a bit touristy.  Oh guess I was one of those too  :'( :'( :'( Broadway was the best.  It's simply stunning there.  We bumped into a couple from the wedding from Stourbridge.  Don't you just hate love the accident  ;D ;D ;D We ended up having dinner with them.  Anyway the chap had been to boarding school as did my Pete and it was funny listening to them recount their experiences particularly with regard to the food.  It also made me think about some on here who seem somewhat bigoted about others who are in some way different particularly the minority attending boarding school.

Just staying up to watch The womens' football show  :). Liverpool doing well  :).
