Morning Susan

I've been ostracised by Lady in Red (LiR) and Knitting Circle Ladies (KCL) since expressing an interest in bi-curiosity.  I haven't seen any females yet that I fancy though only males so I'm beginning to think I might be 100% heterosexual after all  :'( :'( :'(

Something wrong with the alarm on my car which unbeknown to me caused the indicator lights to stay on and lock and wear the battery down.  Was some 30 mins drive from home so called RAC for jump start.  A very nice young man rescued me.  It was dusky and in an empty car park and when he put the leads on he said let it run for a while and stood leaning over my door looking down at me whilst I was sitting in the driver's seat  :) :) :)

He said the drive home would fully charge battery.  Following morning started ok.  Drove to a friend's house on a farm.  When I came to leave battery flat.  Found two nice young men in a van on the farm about to do something with power cables.  I asked if they could give me a jump start and they got out and came to my car on the flat.  I suggested they pushed the car back some 25 metres up an incline.  I'm sitting in the car and they're pushing, both early 20's and slim, pushing with all their might, one went so red in the face I thought he was going to die, both start sweating.  They do about 15 metres then really struggle.  They said I think we'll try a reverse start which would have meant pushing the car in the opposite direction on a decline.  I said oh no it's only a little further come on.  I said I'll help as I thought minus my weight plus my help would make a difference.  So there's me with my 5" heels pushing as well.  I think it was a dent to their masculinity.  Within seconds we got the car in position.  I jumped in and grabbed the handbreak.  Car then on decline and just went instantly.  Didn't even have chance to say thank you.  It was so funny though seeing these two guys in the rear mirror standing in disbelief that a few moments ago they were all clean, sweat free, no redness and racing heart and they just stood there in a cloud of dust from the drive  ;D ;D ;D. Think that's the only time now I'm likely to have two lovely young men sweating over me  :'( :'( :'(

Hi Patti

Yeah whilst I was talking with you  ;D ;D ;D. You sounded like my mum fretting.

He was real cute and worth the wait.  It only took a couple of mins and he was just leaning over the door chatting about cars looking down at me  ;) ;)  ;) If it had been some miserable old git I might have moaned about the time taken.

Hi Patti

Thanks.  I was just wondering with SC's birthday so close to the tragedy that perhaps if Christine had not sent the right card/gift or anything at all this might have had some adverse effect on SC.  This would have been her first birthday since the reunion  :-\ :-\ :-\

Attending a wedding tomorrow in Stow and currently holed up in The Porch which claims to be the oldest inn in England?  Thought that was Ye Little Jerusalem in Notts or is that the smallest?

Sipping some 'Bountiful' a mediocre ale brewed by Wychwood.  I guess I'll have to go upmarket tomorrow and drink wine  :)

Yes the beast is back in my possession now having had her alarm sorted out.  Thank you.

Could have had an effect on her....We can't say really.

Yes the Jerusalem is the oldest and the Bee Hive where I used to live is the smallest.....Also in Notts we have the oldest post office.....

Enjoy your wedding...and wine.   ;D ;D ;D ;D
