Below is the statement dated 16 August 1985 that Bews gave. Most of the wording seems very familiar - perhaps it's been posted elsewhere without my realizing it.

I am confused here. This thread has hartley as the person who originally posted Bewes' statement back in 2012, so how come I couldn't find it the other day or yesterday when I looked?

Bews said Bambers car was the only car passed on route.

Perhaps the roads were quiet enough for him to drive to WHF. The massacre pre dated speed cameras.

CC said he walked/ran across the fields.

I agree with the prosecution that he cycled there.

Lots of options on the night.

Jeremy must have been driving slowly if he arrived 3/4 minutes after the police. This was after the police passed him on the way !

But unfortunately Adam all still only speculation?

Jeremy was certainly well dressed for August.

A shirt, two jumpers and a jacket.

One fact - lots of options. Car, bike, walk.

Then again we don't know what time he started out and we only have the word of the officers in the car that he was travelling incredibly slowly and the police usually agree with oneanother anyway. But in the end Bamber's speed whether fast or slow doesn't add or subtract from anything in the case.

Bews said Jeremy did not appear emotionally excited. Not surprising, it was only Sheila who had the gun.

Just saying like.

It is only a 7 minute journey from his cottage to WHF (See Mikes video). The police passed him on the way, and he still arrived 3/4 minutes after them.

We don't really know what the whether was like? I do know though in August this year it was very cold in the mornings in August. Then again it makes absolutely no difference how Bamber was dressed.

Or equally no options.

Adam I fear that such statements of pure speculation really add nothing to the case?

Everyone knows he was in no rush after getting Neville's call. Highlighted by making sure he didn't get chilly. In August.

Jeremy said it sounded like someone had put their finger on the kitchen phone receiver.  Sheila ?

Come on Neville, what are you man or mouse ?
