Jeremy's Alibi...

Before anyone can say that the convictions for these five murders are safe, you have to be sure that there was no-one still alive and moving around, or trying to communicate with the police, after the police first arrived at the scene at 3:48am...

You have to be sure of the reason why PS Bews ran so quickly away from the scene of the sighting at the bedroom window, and know the content of his conversation once he passed a message to the control room reporting exactly what he and the others saw, and why he asked for the firearms unit to be sent out immediately to the scene, based on what he reported?

You have to be sure, that the person in the control room who received th situation report from the scene (BEWS) understood the implications of what he/she was being told, and that that information was relayed accurately to the relevant senior police officer who had to make the decision to deploy the firearms unit to the scene?

You have to be sure that the senior officer who took the report from the control room understood the information received from the control room, to enable him/her to authorise the deployment of the firearms unit to the incident?

Jeremy said that when Bewes saw the "trick of light"  ;) he rushed back to the patrol car pissing his pants and called for back-up. He aparently became the laughing stock of the other officers. But of course that was only Jeremy's account? How is it that when I see Bewes calmly telling his story of when he discussed this with other officers and they looked again the "decided" that it was a trick of the light that I somehow don't believe him?

Was it not that the other officers took the piss out of Bews and labeled him something like 'pissy pants' because of the way he darted back to the car?

Not necessarily;it could have been the hitman hired by Jeremy. In any case the figure was reported by Jeremy first, who whereupon ducked down dramatically on Pages Lane..then there was a reported sighting of a male figure so it couldn't have been Sheila.

I know you can't always go by looks. But he does look as if he is lying? But then perhaps that's just the way I see him?

The hitman story was investigated and found to be false. I just wonder why people believe JM after discovering so may inconsistencies in her story?
