A slightly confusing and obfuscated reply Patti. I would need to see the paperwork in which you refer. Cooks and Elliots and make a comparison. I have seen this sort of thing before on the forum using highly mistaken/misconstrued/error-ridden statements to back up points. Now are you certain it says that they LOOKED at the catch during the first examination? Is it recorded that they found absolutely nothing in the first search? How does this differ from Elliots?
Justa few simple questions;
1. Is the paperwork relating to this catch correctly labelled?
2. Why haven't you mentioned the finding of a hacksaw blade outside the window?
3. You do not clear away a draining board to 'get more air into a room'
Patti, a million people don't murder their own families. I am merely replying to your inaccurate statement that it 'must be someone inside the house' this is clearly untrue. Bamber could have got in the house and you know it.
Moe, If you don't believe what I have said in my post to you, then it is up to you to prove me wrong. I am telling you what is documented at source. You will need to find the documents...Read RWC's statement and then look in the 2002 appeal document....I can only point you in the right direction, because I can't upload documents, it wont allow me at the moment......The documents have been posted recently by Bridget....I will see If I can find them for you.

Mo I have bumped the thread so you can read RCW statement regarding him taking the catch on the 27th of September. Also on that thread is transcripts copied and pasted from the 2002 appeal document.
The thread is called "Is there a catch to the windows"
As far as I know the catch is labelled exhibit RWC/8
I see no need to mention the hacksaw blade, for the police did not find that blade and yes it was most probably used in the past, for it was rusty, with no fresh marks upon it.
I understand that the draining board was cleared by the police, because of the smell read AE statement 1991. Jean B thought that things had been moved, but it was later revealed that the police moved them...like it was the police that placed the two stools under the table, like the police were the ones that spilled the brown sugar....they could have moved the table too....
I did not say that a million people could....murder their families. What I said was if you surveyed them, you would probably find out that the majority of them would know how to enter their home...I dare bet the majority of people have entered their home at some point in their lives.....No id does not make them killers...like it does not make JB a killer for knowing how to....You can't condemn someone for knowing this surely....
