I can see where you are coming from Steve. But I suspect that what has happened here is that upon becoming under suspicion and malice aforethought from his wider adoptive relatives, everything Jeremy Bamber ever did or said previously, suddenly became interpreted in light of him being a mass murderer. Previous cvonverstaions and actions took on a sinister bent, whereas before non had existed. it#s extremely flakey to use the 'getting Sheila to handle a gun' in my opinion. It could have been completely innocent.
