There's a lot of supposition there steve, fact is we don't know about Ralph and Jeremy's relation ship or anyone elses in the immediate family. Granny Speakman must have liked Jeremy because he was due to inherit a fair bkit from her before the deaths when the family had words with her.

It's no more supposition than anything you read in the books on the case or the internet articles we all trawl through. Agriculture is a male-dominated industry and it would not be too much of a surprise if Jeremy received the farm. As he told Julie Mugford when she asked why if he hated his parents so much he just didn't walk away he replied:"Because I've too much to lose". But greedy Jeremy wanted to have his cake and eat it,he wanted everything including the posh London flat.

I wonder just how much, if at all, policing has changed since 1985. I've heard on local television just now that two policemen have been reprimanded for not going in to a house where a woman had been murdered. Despite having received a call telling them of a disturbance, they knocked, got no reply, and left. The woman's body was found 5 days later and a man has been arrested. Let's hope they got the right man!

Indeed Steve,
A farm labourer also gave a sworn statement in which he claimed Bamber told him that ' he didn't get on with his sister and would not share his inheritance with her' If this is true, maybe it boosts the belief that Jeremy was a greedy person. Of course this does not make him a murderer, but it doesnt make him any more innocent either.
