im aware of the email method but i think handwritten is better everyone likes recieving mail bar bills, think of those prisoners around the world who recieve nothing 50 to a cell.

I agree, Mertol, nothing compares with a hand written letter.

I'm up to chapter 23 and Bamber has just been arrested in Dover, I still think that Wilkes is setting up JB as guilty while painting a picture of Jones as some form of intrepid and triumphant day time TV detective. Although I'm not sure I should pay too much attention to somebody who uses the past particples of the verbs 'to buy' and 'to bring' incorrectly, that niggles me!

Oh the 'brought' thing? Me too, the OH says that all the time - just to irritate I think.

It's also a sad indictment of his writing that the only stand out comment in the last two chapters was a common spelling mistake!

Somebody posted the other day that psychopaths can't cry and that is a fact, while I'm not suggesting that the post is wrong, can anybody substantiate this claim? Personally, I just don't see it but it isn't my field.

No, second hand on Amazon. I'll just stick it on eBay when I've read it.

I just hope that any prospective ebay purchasers aren't reading this thread as I may well do you out of a sale and end up having to buy myself a second copy as recompense!

In retrospect, I'm being unfair. Another interesting point of the last two chapters is a serious one and it is interesting to see how Wilkes highlights the pressure on the police from the press. It seems almost as if their hand was forced to arrest somebody or 'prove' something by the way the press were reporting on the 'failed' 'botched' police investigation, and for one of first times so far, this is something that could feasibly be checked by the reader.

True, I may have to wait a while. Mind you it'll probably take me months to read it anyway. If it doesn't sell I'll hold you to that, you may have cost me a tenner!

A tenner! Blimey, I got mine for £6 on Amazon. I have posted on here before that before the documentary I picked up three of the four books for £23, then Colin's book was on Amazon and ebay for £5k and mine is a signed copy. My wife wanted me to sell and I wish I had now.

Ajross it may have been myself, i base that on 2 issues as in image form in colins book and in issue 7 murder case book while colin is not crying he is in strong denial, remember colin had done his crying earlier and will do so later but not at his sons funerals, jeremy is crying to replicate such an emotion in front of many mourners and family is simply highly unlikely.
