I didn't mean in it a judgemental way, more an understanding one, I wouldn't blame him if he did and supposedly the night before JM and her flat mates were drinking and smoking when he phoned after the call from Nevill and she could easily have taken some with her and said to him, lets go upstairs i have something to calm you down a little and take the edge off. However, you would hope that two police officers would have noticed and they would no doubt have used it later if they had. He was incriminated by his behaviour but he would also have been if he had been smoking. Can't win!

I know you didn't mean it in a judgmental sense, AJ. I doubt if Jeremy and JM would have used cannabis while the police were there, the smell is so strong and distinctive, the police would have picked it up on the two of them -and probably upstairs too - immediately.

mertoll I agree I hate people with lists crossing things off and I find it worse when the husband and wife are together she is at the shelves trying to decide what to buy he is right in the middle of the isle blocking everyone,s way.  I saw a woman on Wednesday she must have opened a dozen bottles of Flash smelling at everyone I would have loved to have poured it over her head bet they are still there.  They finish up spending about £15 and think it is a fortune. :) :) :)

Of course, the other issue with the Wilkes' book is that, no matter how quickly or slowly I read it and no matter how detailed my analysis I know that by the end I will be no closer to getting the answer I desire. I have however just had an answer to a question I posed some months ago and according to the book there were indeed prints found on the kitchen window and diluted blood.

Just read something very interesting in the book by Scott Lomax.  Its about loading the 10th bullet into the magazine.  It appears that Lomax contacted the makers of the gun and they had no reports or feedback that the 10th bullet was harder to load than the 1st one.  The German company go one step further in saying that all their guns are fully tested and sold world wide and they have never had a complaint about loading the magazine.

If the jury had known this???????

Then again did the defence do their research properly?
