Because it has never been published then no, I'm not prepared to say what the Relatives believe Nevill was trying to achieve.

Unfortunately Tesko has a habit of incorporating elements of what I've published about the case to make further allegations fit into whatever theory he's pushing at the time and I'm not prepared to allow him this possibility.

In all fairness,the truth of the alarms came first from Jeremy. He told my friend and I posted about it on the forum. It put the theory to bed regarding the allegation that Jeremy purposely set off a "panic alarm" to test police response PRIOR to the murders. It does make one wonder how much more has been manipulated with regards to the case,in order to paint Jeremy in a bad light! I feel that it is Jeremy himself that deserves the apology!

Maybe you can balance this piece of truth with, lets say, the lie that he called Ann to ask for some money back?...... Or that Ann had sold Oak Farm?.... If he apologises for these then I'll apologise for my mistake...

I thought it was Caroline that first argued against me? A few years ago I thought, only thought, not an allegation, that Bamber said there WAS a panic alarm in the GDS days.... GDS made a statement about it.

Vidvic,I know nothing about any telephone call that Jeremy did or did not make to AE,so really cannot comment. With regards to Oak Farm,whether Jeremy alleges that it has or hasn't been sold really has no relevance in this case whatsoever. Maybe somebody wrongly informed him that the farm was sold and he has simply repeated this.It wasn't exactly a malicious allegation and was damaging to no-one at all.

It was me who mentioned my thoughts re the panic button because I had doubts about it all along given that it isn't mentioned anywhere. I remember someone saying that Jeremy had tested response times a few weeks prior to the murders but I didn't accept it because more would most certainly have been made of it. During the big discussion you and I had (recently) Tyler backed me up after having spoken to her friend who asked Jeremy and that solidified my thoughts.

So you were told by the family , what they believed NB was trying to do , and you have been mistaken into believing NB was going for a panic alarm , it would be interesting to hear what
words , you mistook for panic alarm .
I believe you have previously also stated on here that JB set this alarm off , where did you get this information from ?

Some contend the panic alarm was in the bedside cabinet in the master bedroom,others argue there was no panic alarm fitted until after the murders. The incident to which you allude I believe was told by farm secretary Barbara Wilson though I stand to be corrected on this.

Hey Patti blow me down with that feather found on the table at WHF I've just stumbled across another of egap1's post.  He/she will have the top three threads on the discussion board   

Anyway I've come across a book entitled "Life Means Life" by Nick Appleyard.  It contains a summary for each individual serving quite literally a life sentence:

"Jailed forever : true stories of Britain's most evil killers".

It obviously includes JB under the heading "Tonight's The Night".  Normal rubbish including the following which I haven't previously picked up on:

"Later he treated a group of friends to a £6,000 holiday to Holland and flew one friend out to St Tropez for a five-star jaunt". 

I'm just reading it again to check for anything else.

The holidays are not new news. The Holland trip included Jeremy,Julie and Brett. I believe this was the holiday on which Julie claims she was raped and blamed Jeremy because "he wasn't there"? The St Tropez trip was just Jeremy and Brett. Was it not this holiday that upon their return they were arrested at Dover?
