Steve Battram is not an expert on the Bamber case. He certainly has no inside knowledge. He claims to have met Jeremy in HMP Full Sutton when he was serving a sentence. Jeremy has no recollection of Steve Battram but it may be that their paths crossed at some stage. Steve Battram clearly did not like Jeremy, which is fair enough, but he is no more qualified than anyone else to express a view on his guilt or innocence.
Steve Battram appears to have a fixation on guilt. Has the abuse he says he suffered as a child left him with an obsession with declaring prisoners who are fighting for the right to Appeals to be guilty? That's how it seems to me. He seems to want everyone to be guilty!
Battram claims to be a crime writer: has anyone seen these books he claims to have written? Battram appears to have little or no real knowledge of the cases on which he proclaims his instant judgements. He seems to base his views solely on his own, highly perverse prejudices. Most of Battram's odd views seem to be based on highly questionable and unproven anecdotal experiences that Battram claims to have had with the prisoners concerned. Yet did her ever really know any of these people? Battram appears unable to substantiate his various claims.
I think Battram's a menace. he is all over the internet attempting to prevent prisoners from being allowed the Appeals they deserve. Battram, for example declared Eddie Gilfoyle to be guilty!
