You would think the CCRC read this forum when taken it's decision , rather than the test's carried out by expert's !!

Extended family found scratch marks on the Aga which was deemed to have been made after the actual crime!

Extended family says Jeremy used a bike!

Extended family says he wore a wetsuit!

Extended family brought a moderator into play!

Extended family says he is guilty!

Extended don't want his release!

Extended family don't want to believe any evidence found!

Extended family believed a thief and told lies about Matthew McDonald...Julie Mugford.!

This is what it boils down too.....the extended family.....

Please don't get me wrong, I understand their grief, but I will never understand how they could falsify evidence....and use hearsay to convict an innocent man..

Could it be that the CCRC denied a referal because of possible embarrassment through not referring earlier appeals.  The facts put before them then were just as important as they have now

its just a game to them,if I were in their shoes I would do the same.
I will keep looking for ways for JB to show he had no involvement in the deaths of his family.

You may want to read my last post to understand my opinion of the case and why they wil do everything to stop the truth coming out.

There are few references to "facts" being discussed in relation the CCRC decision.

They are not clear facts, as some can be argued either way / differently or dismissed as mistakes.

I think the wording in the telegraph article, as posted by Curious, sums the latest submission up quite well!

Taken from article;

Announcing its decision the CCRC said: “Matters of pure speculation or unsubstantiated allegation constitute neither new evidence nor new argument capable of giving rise to a real possibility that the Court of Appeal will quash a conviction. Neither can such a real possibility arise from the accumulation of multiple unsubstantiated allegations.”

The Statement concluded: “The Commission is satisfied that nothing in the submissions made by and on behalf of Mr Bamber or any issues raised in the recent documentary can, either individually or cumulatively, give rise to a real possibility that the Court of Appeal would find any of Mr Bamber’s convictions to be unsafe.”

Sounds like it Jon!! I still would like to find out who the person was who decided to withhold  evidence  Mugford gave the performance of her life to get the 25k promised to her on conviction

Steve Battram is not an expert on the Bamber case.  He certainly has no inside knowledge.  He claims to have met Jeremy in HMP Full Sutton when he was serving a sentence.  Jeremy has no recollection of Steve Battram but it may be that their paths crossed at some stage.  Steve Battram clearly did not like Jeremy, which is fair enough, but he is no more qualified than anyone else to express a view on his guilt or innocence.

I did warn you all the weekend of today's outcome Guys.
Bamber has had  good Lawyer now and with the same result.
I'm sorry Jackie that you have egg all over your face again, you don't see all the evidence in this case that points to his Guilt.
I know many of you won't change your mind or get on with your lives.
You must ask each other though, why do all the different judges after reviewing all the evidence STILL come to the same conclusion.
Oh Patti, You can come up with all the name calling and excuses you like.  :'(
