Do you believe the official version of how Julie Mugford came forward?  If you have adjusted your view and now believe the official version is incorrect, can you give an opinion on why the official version is incorrect?

I'm not sure what to make of her. I do believe Jeremy told her of the plans. But how the police found this out has never settled with me.

Not really willing to go much further. But I don't think the official version is fully correct because I've read everything and she did change her story a few times - but she seemed to co-operate a lot easier than other people but I've heard her reffered to as an "unco-operative, pivotal yet heartless bitch." which has alwyas made me wonder why if she was so helpful was she disliked by the police.

I think they had a lot more trouble getting info out of her than they let on.

No. I gave up on that many moons ago. I grew tired of seeing people charged/convicted and then just recieve a slap on the wrists and let out to reoffend.
I currently concentrate on keeping those behind bars where they belong no matter how many years has passed and how they try and skew views.

Thank you for your answer.  Can you see the problems inherent in the prosecution having maintained for 27 years, that she came forward of her own volition, if in fact she did not do so?   If Julie Mugford did not come forward in the manner that has been maintained for all these years, do any alarm bells sound for you?

Sadly no alarms bells for me. She may not have come forward how they said she did but she did come forward and no words were ever put into her mouth by the police. The police and Julie Mugford were certianly not on friendly terms, ever.

Are you 100% certain that she came forward of her own volition?  This is important Mat.  If the Crown & Bob Miller would have us believe so, it is extremely important.

So either all the essex police were lying, the raid teams, coroners, julie, most of the bamber family & there are still coverups to this day .. so that's courts, witnesses, anyone with the PII material.

It's somewhat amusing that the only person out of all these people referred to, who has passed a polygraph, is 'The liar'. 

'The Liar' passes the lie detector test.  He passes testing for psychopathy.  He passes testing for impression management and he passes testing for self deception. 

Yet he is still the villain, like some Moriarty-type genius.

Personally I think she's more concerned with losing her job by the revelation that she was involved with crime in her early life and in being involved in the Bamber case.
