The very best of luck to Jeremy, I await developments this week with great interest.....

I hope Simon can can find a way round any obstructions posed by a negative decision.  Let's hope the statutory test has indeed been met and that no interference or wrongly motivated pedantry wins the day.

Someone said to me what justice does JB seek?, a referal and appeal could be considered justice even if the appeal failed, total justice can only mean freedom.Justice does seem to have more than one guise.

JB deserves a fair crack of the whip, whether he gets it or not is a different matter.

I think it will be down to luck, and not common sense or anything to do with justice.

Good luck, fingers crossed.

Has the CCRC disclosed a date on which they are going to announce their decision?

No, but the clear indication from them is that the announcement will be this week.

Simon tweeted that no decision by CCRC would be announced before 23rd April.
He also said that himself and Jeremy would be told decision before any 3rd party.
And contrary to what hartley stated on this forum,he has said that he has told Jeremy that even if CCRC decision is a negative one,he will remain committed to Jeremy's case both now and in the future.
Like a dog with a bone,I get the feeling that Simon will not rest until he has secured justice for Jeremy.Good on him!

Just had a quick look on Twitter.  @Bambertweets states that it is unlikely that the CCRC will make a public announcement on JB's case today.  This could, however, mean that a decision has been made and JB/SM are aware of the decision because as we all know they will get to know first and quite rightly so.  It is probably just me thinking this but I just thought that the wording was interesting  :)

This is what I was wondering also.

They certainly like to drag it out. The law's delay as usual.

I am sure the CCRC have already made their decision.  The reasons for that decision and the press release will be the subject of final drafting and approval.
