How am I a troll? I've been here months. I posted this morning to tell you that the CRCC declined.

And now you all have it official.

There will be 17 key points as to why they declined. (But I'm guessing you'll say I guessed that too ;) )

I don't know what to say Susan.....Is it that the evidence is flawed or do the powers to be just don't want to listen.  >:(

Ok Mat. If you are not guessing you will be in trouble and so will the CCRC for leaking that information. You are still a troll. If you are not then how come you know nothing about Ann Eaton.

That's what happens when you have a bunch of useless no hopers running a campaign with no legal expertise and not using the free legal expertise on offer to you

There had to be a publicity campaign yet there was nothing except a small letter writing experiment on twitter

I hope they take responsibility for their actions

They have been telling Jeremy for months he was definitely going to get his appeal

Patti  I think the powers of be just don,t want to listen  He will have to do what Nat Fraser did and go to the Supreme Court and he got a retrial which started last Monday.  I am well and truly sick.

I believe Jeremy has tried the ECHR route re life sentence and change of sentencing with two others lifers and was unsuccessful. I think the announcement / ECHR decision was made a couple of months ago.

Simon has spoken to Jeremy. They are now considering a judicial review

It was, although the case can still go to the ECHR Grand Chamber for final consideration.

Are you an ex or a serving police officer Mathew? If you are then it is a disgusting state of affairs that this kind of confidential information is leaked and the only reason that you told the forum before that actual decision was made public is out of devilment. I am informed that the police and the prison governor are told around 9am and so these are the only sources that you could have got the information from. Other that of course a leak from within the CCRC. If you had said such a thing in wartime Mathew then you would have been hauled in by MI5 double quick and questioned. But being in peacetime you may escape punishment.
In any case I take a very dim view of you revealing such information before it was publicly release and even before the family or Jeremy knew. It confirms to be that there is certainly corruption within the system and that you are somehow involved in this corruption. Simon McKay is going to be informed of this later on and he will no doubt be bringing this "leak" up with the CCRC.

No great surprise. Now they will release a bit more of the withheld evidence so his team can waste years trying to put together another submission which will then fail. They need him to die in prison in the hope people will then just let the case rest.

Unless they release all of the documents he'll never be released.

I take a very dim view of this too, G. In my view, there is only one way that Mat could have both obtained details of the CCRC's decision and been of a mind to gloat about it here.
