I just hope Jeremy has made copies of the image, right now he will be in his room for the night, i really dont know whats running through his mind for all we know he may be listening to his favourite music or simply watching tv, its going to be a long night for him.

Hi G - Hope you and the family are doing okay. x

Thank you for that.

I have since amended my post in reply to ChocChok Eira to remove the last sentence.  I felt my wording was inappropriate and whilst I do think a referral to the COA would be a definite if this information was received by JB and has been included in his application to the CCRC, the reference to the 'pat on the back for stealing it' was totally inappropriate and I felt after reading my post again that some may believe I condone a crime being committed which I definitely do not.  Whilst the production of this information can be seen as a positive for JB, I certainly do not agree with the method in which he has possibly obtained it.  I was being sarcastic and apologies to everyone for any offence caused.  :(

Gillian i very much doubt you have offended anyone , im not normally one to mince my words all i will add is given the runaround inflicted on jeremy these last 26 years any evidence no matter where it came from could lead to jeremy being found innocent i consider more than all square.

Hi mertol22 - Thank you for that.  I also believe that JB is innocent and should not have spent the last 26 years in prison and any information that improves his chances of freedom should be welcomed with open arms, however, all I was merely stating was that I do not agree with the method in which it has possibly come into JB's possession.  Some may say that Mike has been brave to admit what he has done and others may think he is foolish, who knows?  There are also the possible repercussions for Mike if someone viewing this forum is in a position to take the matter further.  We do not even know whether JB received the photograph.  It may have been intercepted and possibly destroyed.  If the CCRC do not make a referral tomorrow then the possible repercussions will not disappear but let's hope there is good news for everyone concerned.  :)

yes we have to be positive , but as mike im sure knows should they not do the right thing it does not end here it can never end the arizona tests are offering a different version of events that night it was in effect the silencer that convicted jeremy in the first place not forgetting mugfords pounds worth, these tests simply cannot be ignored.

Mods - Can you please tell me why Mike is allowed to begin a thread but locks it so that members are unable to post.  I am referring, of course, to the 'How I Lost the Photograph of Sheila on the Bed'.  It's frustrating to say the least.  :(

Gillian, he sometimes favours this approach initially and then the thread is unlocked, for others to contribute.   I assume it's to make the initial points he wants to make.

I think that IF that photograph has been acquired in questionable circumstances then it would be a case of, the ends justifying the means.  Although to be honest, I'm still not sure what the photograph illustrates.  Is it a picture of Shelia on the bed with just a single shot gun wound?

if i understand mike correctly then yes thats the subject matter in the image which can mean only one thing sheila may still have been alive given jeremy was with the police outside WHF around 03.30am or after  means jeremy is innocent .

Thanks Mertol,  If that's what it does show then he's a free man.  He couldn't have done it.  Sounds too good to be true?

If what Mike is claiming is true then realistically he is in no danger of being prosecuted . To prosecute would be to admit the existence of the photograph . To admit the existence of the photograph would give Mike a credible defence of necessity but it would be doubtful a prosecution would be deemed in the " public interest " (bit of a can of worms for open court).
If photographs existence is denied still then surely even Mike , resourceful as he is  , couldn't steal something that the prosecution deny exists .
