what i cant understand i how the police hadent already dug the place he has pointed them too.

What I cant understand is with all the fancy hi tech equipment that they had the first time they dug the place up, why they didnt find Kate then.
I would guess it's impractical to reliably search 276 acres.
Oh I lnow..... Let's believe a Lie Detector test when we feel it suits our Drunken theories.... Jeremy passed= hes a guilty man.... Adrian Prout failed and confessed hes also a guilty man ....TWATS
What has my post got to do with lie detector tests?

It seems you've been at the White Lightning again tonight Trace?
Because I linked this thread with one in the JB discussion where Jackie spoke about Adrian Prout and the lie detector test.

I see. Well the quote was my comment about the impracticalities of searching such a large area of land.

I guess the Facebookers aren't used to the forum where people try to follow some logical flow of discussion.

It is a very large piece of land to search. I don't think people realise the size of even one acre of land is.

I think anyone could accept that but that is not what was reported in statements by the investigation team and also reported in the media over the years.  No stone being left unturned, extensive digging of the land, banging on about the fancy equipment used in the search, etc was all very misleading.  A search was also done as recently as 2010.  I hope that it isnt much longer before the remains are found, for the sake of Kate, her family and friends.

My thoughts are with Kate Prouts family today.  Detective Superintendent Simon Atkinson confirms police have been found human remains on a farm, which belonged to millionnaire Adrian Prout who confessed to murdering his wife.

More details here http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/8913469/Police-find-human-remains-on-millionaire-Adrian-Prouts-farm.html

wichfinder I am so disappointed.

In this ever changing world you were the one constant, the one who could be unreservedly relied upon to find all guilty- and now - well I'm devastated!!  :'(

Inferring the reliability of lie detector tests from one example?
Sorry - but that's completely scientifically invalid.
So is inferring that because just one proved to be guilty (who was not supported by us anyway) that everyone else is as well.

HA, your too early, April Fools day has just arrived ;D

On a more serious note, many people believed he was innocent.  There was no evidence to support a guilty verdict.  He could have continued to fool people about failing the test, but he didnt he came clean and confessed to what he had done.  I for one am pleased that he confessed which led to the finding of the body, so that the family could give her a proper burial.

Maybe he is innocent and people are right that lie detectors aren't reliable
