Keira & Jon,

I get your point. It's just that I believe that Julie and Jeremy together were far from Angels. It's not just Julie who did bad things...

Keira, lol..... of course I have bloody skeletons ........  ;)

Aha! Does this mean you're a thoroughly bad lot, a bad character, of the stuff that murders are made from?

Of course it doesn't. So why should it mean that for Jeremy?

Bob im suprised we still have half a dozen people left on this forum, its utter chaos on here now, especially mr Z, the elusive mr Z.
Yep - it's degenerated into farce.

I used to be impressed how reasoned the discussions were on here compared to the FB Pro group. Now it just seems to have become a parody of it, with the likes of Jackie, Tyler etc. far more interested in attacking personalities than they are in discussing evidence.

I made a mistake in coming back when I thought there was something interesting to debate  :-\

Bob/Arkanoid - How dare you make false claims about me.Who the hell do you think you are?Where have I attacked personalities?Aside from you (and unlike you),I get on well with everyone on this forum.I am here as I have an interest in the case. You are here simply to relentlessly smite people that you do not like and simply to wade into everyone elses arguments. And here you are again, trying to bring me into an argument of your own that doesnt even concern me.Just grow up and leave me alone!

Sorry to everyone else for disrupting the thread.

I agree, Tyler, this is yet another outrageous personal attack by Bob. I've already reported another abusive post of his to the mods.

It is possible for the family to have truly, genuinely believed in Jeremy's guilt.  There is no known natural law of life that would prevent this genuine belief from running concurrently with / but ignorant of, a bungled police raid involving Sheila... and all the machinations that could stem from such an incident.

For me the weak link in the chain for the family / their supporters' stance...  is in relation to the withheld evidence issue.  For them, this issue seems to be the elephant in the room.  This does their stance no favours in respect of the rest of us evaluating the defence arguments re the silencer evidence.

To ignore the elephant in the room is a massively undermining factor, when considering the family's continued stance re their alleged genuine belief in Jeremy's guilt.

Excellent points, Rocky +1
But one thing stands out for me in all this. Just how ready and how quickly the family were to believe in Jeremy's guilt. Too quickly for my liking. Which to me indicates that they hated him already and that this was an opportunity that they had been waiting for to disown him? That is only my opinion of course having never met the family in order to judge whether they are saints or devils?

Exactly Grahame what the hell has New Zealand got to do with a reason that we might think Jeremy is guilty of murdering 5 people?

Ridiculous

+ 1 Grahame, Ngb and Keira
+1 Rochford
The family should be campaigning for everything to be released under PII

They should having nothing to fear should they

I don't believe it to be ridiculous Jackie. For example, if he had to get out because of something he'd done wrong, then that would be another example of bad character.
Complete speculation in order to denigrate Jeremy's character. Bad policy Vic.

Unfortunately these murders gave Julie Mugford an opportunity to lie about Jeremy and wipe her slate clean in order to persue her career. An opportunity for her to come out of this business smelling of roses. A thoroughly devious and evil girl in my opinion. But then I don't really know her do I?

I'm just wondering of course...If both Jeremy and Julie were as bad as each other why was her evidence preferred over his? Hmm yes ::) We must of course that as far as we know (I could be wrong) note that Jeremy has never spoken harshly against Mugford. Yet she it appears is still full of hate for him? Who I wonder is the better character now?

Grahame,Im in agreement with you on this. What I find really unsettling is AE's first thought on learning the horrific news.Something along the lines of "All of the family dead - except Jeremy",which I take to mean - how suspicious! Not,"all of the family dead, but at least we still have Jeremy".And then the amateur sleuthing appeared to take hold from the moment Jeremy told them what he had discovered after a trip to see the solicitor, regarding the wills, farms and land.As Vidvic has pointed out, this family were wealthy in their own right, but in my opinion, they felt they did what they had to do,in order to stop Jeremy taking over or even selling off what they saw as their heritage - the Speakman estate.

No Grahame, this is not the point I'm making. I constantly read on here how disgraceful a behaviour was showed by Julie (Which I agree), but disgraceful behaviour by Bamber is laughed off as youthful spirit, etc etc.....

If there had been no murders and you found out that Jeremy and Julie had robbed their own families' Caravan park, would you not think this to be bad Character by them BOTH??

For me there is one thing that makes me absolutely without a shadow of doubt convinced Mugford was telling lies about Jeremy.

If Mugford knew her boyfriend was responsible for the murder of two children and three adults she would not have gone within a million miles of that mortuary

How sick and disgusting would that be

It reminds me if reading about Myra Hindley having her photo taken on the moors where bodies of children were buried

Would you really go to a mortuary when it's not even your responsibility to see your boyfriends handiwork especially when you might have prevented the murders

A girl with a very very sick mind

What did she admit to saying that if she couldn't have Jeremy nobody could
