Easily, via the Home Office.

Do you seriously think the Governor of HMP Wakefield has done this of his own volition?  Why would it worry the prison or its staff?  Why do you think it has happened?

Maybe he simply sought to violate the terms on which prisoners are allowed to contact the media.

Campaign Team very quiet about this.

You have no basis whatsoever for this.

well it's the most likely reason - simply breaking the rules - rather than concluding it was pressure from the "powers that be" - which falls flat because why would the authorities outside be worried about JB communicating with the media within the established guidelines?

He has not broken any rules.  I think you will see in due course.

I do not feel able to answer that question at the moment.  I believe more will be revealed publicly in due course.

Here is a very good Justice Gap article.  It is worth reading.

"The victims are dead.." That reason falls flat in my view and is discourteous to say the least to the surviving relatives.

It has to be weighed against a miscarriage of justice.

I personally don't care whether he's given a mouthpiece or not. But I recall Colin's comments, that those left to deal with the tragedy had been "given a life sentence."

I wonder what the lefties on this site make of the recent internet censorship in Russia.

If his ban is lifted it will be interesting to hear what Jeremy has to say that shows his convictions are unsafe.

I think the Campaign Team need to preserve their lawyers fees for challenging the CCRC. It cost them £30,000 just to get a KC to write a strong letter in response to the Provisional Statement of Reasons. When that fails and the Campaign Team receive the final Statement of Reasons, they will need a lot more money for challenging by Judicial Review.

If the QC charged £30,000 just for writing a letter to the CCRC, just think how much it will cost for him to appear before three judges seeking permission to apply for a Judicial Review.

Not much, if anything, that stands up to any sort of scrutiny.
