There was an interesting dicussion this afternoon on The Media Show on BBC Radio 4.  Emily Bolton from Objection and Simon Hattenstone the Guardian journalist discussed the ban by HMP Wakefield on Jeremy Bamber having contact with journalists.

Here is a link to the programme on BBC Sounds: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m002w5yr

The discussion starts at 11.30 and ends at 21.14.  It is worth listening to.
Thanks, ngb!

and Bamber supporters are trying to claim that Jeremy is this is somehow hindering his campaign ... despite the fact that his Campaign Team have submitted a 1,000+ page dossier in March 2021 along additions to the March 2021 submission and umpteen previous appeals and CCRC submissions!

He's also given interviews about that CCRC application - so unless he's adding new grounds - or ,making a fresh application I'm unclear why he should be allowed to give further interviews. A prisoner can't talk to the media whenever he/she wants to.

interesting to hear Simon Hatterstone say his predecessor on the Bamber story was banned for breaking the rules - he and Bamber believed JB would be going home in a couple of weeks so it didn't matter! These people really are living in cloud-cuckoo land.

I would hazard a strong guess that Jeremy has been having problems with staff on the wing he is on.
If yesterday you hated me. Then today you can not stop the love that binds from me to you. And you to me

If I was JB I'd ask to put in a transfer to frankland or full Sutton and get out of that shithole Wakefield.

I agree. Wakefield just adds to the effect that JB's " the worst of the worst " which people of a certain political bent will accept ! There are more politics in this case than enough. I know how they work !!
