People said it was the end of the matter after the 2002 COA judgement. Then again in 2012.

A full rejection at the end of this decade and Jeremy will be 70. Physically still able to still be alive and submit another CCRC application in 2040.

He's aware no doubt that posthumous acquittal may be be his best chance.

I do believe Jeremy's minimum term of 25 years should have been kept at just that though. That's just a personal opinion.

ILB how do you deal with people like Jeremy Bamber and Christian Brückner? I believe the latter has been living in a tent in various German woodlands since his release. How would you ensure Bamber doesn't arrive at White House Farm, a gun attached to his person..

Steve.

Had Jeremy Bambers minimum term of 25 years stayed put he wouldn't have been released in 2010, doubtful till this day even. No Offence work done, an IDOM, and of course the brutual nature of what's he's convicted of.

However justice drake set his tariff at that 25 years. Politicians should not interfere and in 2003 I am glad judges were handed back the power.

I don't think long term recievidists should be given short sentences to be in and out of jail. There needs to be an alternative way. The sharp short shock treatment was flawed from the outset for me.

As for sex offenders well I think we are on all the same page how they should be treated.

Sentencing as certainly changed over the years.

In this day and age whole life tariffs are given out for single M charge.

In 1981 Peter Sutcliffe got a minimum of 30 years for the murder of 13 women!

My personal belief is that if Jeremy Bamber was aquitted and walked free he would probably try to make his extended relatives life's difficult as possible.  Although I would imagine through the legal channels.

But then again realistically speaking, we have to remember Jeremy's done 40 years in the system. He's lived on the landings with some of the UK's most dangerous men. Would he seek retribution?

He wouldn't fear jail that's for sure.

I would have thought he would be banned from Essex, in the same way the Bulger killers are banned from Merseyside. Whether that's enforced by a prisoner ankle bracelet I wouldn't know.

Did Crispy also unscrew the moderator and tidy it away into the downstairs cupboard.

Jeremy did not dispute that Sheila could not have shot herself a second time. He was there. No surprise someone as frail as Sheila was knocked out after the first shot. As shown on her nightdress.

Jeremy could only suggest it was Crispy, reflexes or that Nevill had said 'she' rather than Sheila on the phone.

Sheila was knocked out & still breathing after the first shot. She may have continued breathing for seconds, minutes or hours.

After everyone had been shot between 3-8 times & Nevill had received a brutal attack, he made the instant decision that 2 shots at Sheila would not be important.

That would be correct if her first shot was a torso shot. But both his shots were expertly placed for maximum damage.

If Jeremy Bamber is acquitted as a result of a successful appeal there will be no legal basis for any restriction on him.

That is correct.

But Jeremy is litigious and not the type to let sleeping dogs lie. Even though legal action against certain people may fail it's a route I believe he would venture down.

Hardly tidy given the state in which we are told it was found!  'Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive'.  Ho, ho, ho!

The issue of the inheritance would become interesting - also the tenancy of WHF.
