The different reasons given -

Sheila burnt Nevill with rifle minus silencer. No reason given.

Nevill fell onto aga door. Police moved him. No reason given.

Jeremy lifted Nevill onto coal scuttle & burnt his back. Most popular reason is to check for signs of life.

Nevill was found face planted in a coal, scuttle.

yes he hasn't had a full rejections yet - but can't be far away now.

He will just start again mate.

He will be in the public eye until the day he dies.

Posthumously I'm not sure if someone will carry the torch. The CT would probably disband and the man has no family who he is close to.

snow have you discussed your theory with the CT?
Yes, I asked the CT over on Twitter if they had considered the possibility that Nevill was lying against the Aga earlier on that fateful night before he was shot, cant remember exactly what they said, something like they had considered it but ruled it out for some reason.
I'll try and look for the Tweets concerned! Not sure who I was talking to, possibly Nicky Rowley.

OK, this is exactly what I asked the CT on Twitter, Jonathan!
' Has Jeremy and Yvonne [who initially worked out between them I believe, that the Aga made the marks?] considered the possibility that Nevill may only have been knocked out while lying against the Aga?
After all he did have fractures to the skull!'

And this is the exact answer the CT gave me..    'It was considered but given the time it would take to ahieve that level of burns to Nevills back that isn't a possibility. He would have rolled away if he could have. Thanks for your support.'

So, thats what they said, Jonathan, but the thing is Boyce was experimenting with the skin of a dead pig not a living human being, and why would Nevill roll away if he had a fractured skull?
Also, the Aga may have been hotter around midnight than it was from 3.30 onwards?

They are probably all in on police misconduct. They don't want to offer a theory that contradicts that.

Well they may have to offer a contradictory theory if the police misconduct proposal is rejected, Jonathan!

The answer given by the CT is close, as makes no difference, to the answer given you by several forum members, isn't it? Also, there is no reason for the Aga to be hotter, around midnight in the height of summer!

On a totally different tack, there is no reason why some people, who've sustained skull fractures, can't move around. It depends on the severity of the fracture, and how long it takes to detect. The only symptom could be a severe headache which painkillers don't touch.

Don't worry snow66!, Cutie is waiting in the wings to pick up the mantle and have the CCRC running for the hills  :P 8)

I haven't ruled out the possibility that 'you' pointed out, Jane! that Nevill may have suffered a heart attack or stroke from the stress of Sheila waving a rifle about!

Well, you've thrown every conceivable option at it so far, Snow. There's now only the kitchen sink that's left!

Seems that no one has got any other proposed grounds to the CCRC which the forum can look at. Since CC's 5 proposed grounds were rejected on the 1st May 2026 due to no supporting evidence.

Everyone must be happy with the 2021 CCRC referral.

Sort of.

Bill Robertson has said that the Campaign Team ought to have submitted a much shorter and more focuses submission as it could have been submitted years earlier and would allow the CCRC to make a much speedier referred to the Court of Appeal.
