To be honest, I don’t think the burns are decisive in relation to the murders, they don’t prove anything either way. That doesn’t mean they should be hushed up, they’re a topic for discussion that’s all.
As for what caused them, I’ve already given my view. I tend to agree with Knight that they may have resulted from prodding from behind, but that’s my speculation, and not proof.
To be honest, I challenge Boyce’s theory simply because I don’t accept it, for the reasons I’ve already given. Questioning a reconstruction isn’t attacking, it’s testing whether it actually fits the features of the Aga and the contact points involved, we will not have any influence whatsoever in the outcome, what do you want me to do when a topic is up for discussion, sit back and agree, if I wanted them hushed up I wouldn’t be discussing it would I?
