Genocide
« on: September 17, 2025, 02:07:AM »
If your still shilling for Israel and justifying/denying the genocide being committed then you ought to read this,

https://www.ohchr.org/sites/default/files/documents/hrbodies/hrcouncil/sessions-regular/session60/advance-version/a-hrc-60-crp-3.pdf

All of it. An undeniable genocide laid out in detail by the words, actions and deeds of the Zionist regime. Western governments supporting arming and giving diplomatic cover to the genocide are now in open defiance of the UN and the "Genocide Convention". It was never in doubt and those doubting the genocide are lying to themselves and they well know it. This is surely not what you signed up for. You surely didn't see having to defend what are self evidently indefensible actions when you first gave support to Israel. It is way past time to admit your error and distance yourself from what is the the most unimaginable horror inflicted in our lifetimes. To carry on associating yourselves with the values of Zionism and Israel is to knowingly and willingly support the genocide that is undeniable to all.

Well said gringo.
Thanks ngb, it is unbelievable that it still needs to be said. I would recommend that everyone reads the report of the UN Commission in its entirety. Especially those who support Israel. I suspect that it won't be read by those who need to because they understand that their support could not survive the brutal truth, so best to bury their heads.
I will "highlight" some of the most egregious incidents throughout the thread and it goes without saying that others are also free to add their own particular "lowlights?". Starting on page 12(para 34) to page 13(para 44). It lays out the massacre of Red Crescent first responders and UN staff in detail, the covering up of the massacre (bulldozing and burying the massacred along with their ambulances) and the lies told by Israeli officials/IDF.
      As briefly as possible;

Two Red Crescent ambulances were sent to an incident in Tal as-Sultan. The first ambulance arrived , reported no injuries and the second ambulance turned back. Not long after contact was lost with the first ambulance and the second ambulance along with two civil defence emergency vehicles were sent to investigate.
A UN investigative team visited the site four days later. According to the Israelis, the vehicles approached without headlights on or any identifying markings and firing shots. Israel claimed to have eliminated a number of "Hamas terrorists". Spoiler alert, surprisingly to noone, nothing in that version of events is true.
The UN investigators recovered the vehicles, which had been crushed and bulldozed into the sand by the notorious "Golani Unit", along with 15 bodies.( 8 Red Crescent workers, 6 civil defence workers and 1 UNWRA worker). Crucially a mobile phone was recovered with footage that debunked in it's entirety the IDF lies.
The vehicles were clearly marked, headlights on and emergency lights on. No shots were fired from the convoy, the Golani Unit massacred 15 first responders knowingly and then lied and buried the evidence with bulldozers in a mass grave. This is but one of many evidenced atrocities in the report. The facts are indisputable and come with receipts. Read the section highlighted for the full details of the massacre described above (para 34 to 44). I have given a brief synopsis, the whole story is much worse than I can summarise briefly.
Then read the full report. Truth, no matter how painful, is needed more than ever.

I am sure Steve's hero and mentor Melanie Phillips will dismiss this as pure Hamas propaganda and yet another example of "Jew hate".

As will Steve, without reading it. In the aftermath however, Steve and Mel Phillips dismissals carry no weight whereas the report does.

It's a long report. I doubt many members will have read it fully. Suffice to say the UN has some shady countries as members.

I'm sorry about the Red Crescent victims. It's always difficult in war zones to establish the credentials of advancing personnel. https://x.com/LTC_Shoshani/status/1906761462917247361?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1906761462917247361%7Ctwgr%5Ee446c9b862f901cf04369b950a07cdb573b05ad3%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.aljazeera.com%2Ffeatures%2F2025%2F4%2F1%2Frescue-workers-israel-killed-found-in-mass-grave-in-gaza-what-to-know

..that the Republic of Ireland has historically lost no opportunity to take any stance antipathetical to British interests.

Are you suggesting that the genocide of the Palestinians serves “British interests”?

Don't twist my words. Higgins was raised in a family associated with the IRA and no doubt regaled with spuriously romantic stories of how they kicked the British Empire's a**. What sickens me is that it seems Hamas is being rewarded for the October 7 atrocities, though it's fool's gold now to visualize a fully-functioning, autonomous Palestinian state.

You show no respect for facts or truth and demonstrate this in every post you make. The first link that you posted is the IDF claim of vehicles advancing without headlights or emergency signals. That claim has been unequivocally been proven to be a pack of lies. Mobile phone footage shows this claim to be a lie. It is what has been written about in the previous posts. Why do you post an already thoroughly debunked lie as if the claim has equal merit to established truth? It does you no credit to "debate" in such a dishonest way.

It is 72 pages long. Much is taken up with references and amounts to around 45/50 pages of solid reading. It is a documented description of an ongoing genocide. You could read it in the time it takes you to watch the videos that you often link. If you want to attempt to debunk or discuss the report, it is perhaps best to read it. You are so intellectually lazy that you lack the capacity to read and discuss yourself so you outsource your "thinking" to propagandists such as Mad Mel Phillips and just pretend to have thought what she says.

What sickens me is that it seems Hamas is being rewarded for the October 7 atrocities

A reward that comes with about 60,000 dead people, virtually the entire strip flattened, scholasticide, thousands of maimed children and adults, literally without arms; legs; hands; feet; eyes etc.

Where there no atrocities committed before October 7th?
