It is possible Bamber left June & Nevill to shoot the twins, once each. As CAL says.

Believing he had done enough damage to negate June & Nevill with 9 shots.

This would have given Nevill the chance to go downstairs via the main bedroom door.

Nevill was not very fast due to his injuries. So was caught in the kitchen.

If he had been onto Nevill had nevill exited via the box room there's a strong chance they would have fought in that room before he had even reached the twins room.

Nevill would have had to have been very quick.

In fairness though there is a chance Bamber didn't chase him straight away. But a slim one.

He may after shooting June exited the bedroom and gone downstairs to negate nevill further once they met in the kitchen. ( main bedroom door )

He would believe Nevill would be heading downstairs to flee or grab a firearm)

However a bit risky, although shot 4 times Nevill showed what a strong person he was. And how resilient he was.

My personal belief as stated through the bedroom main door and down the staircase, Bamber beating him with the rifle on the main stairs causing further weakness.

If Nevill lurched out of bed, I would have fired the final 2 shots into him. Instead of going into the twins room.

However Bamber would have had a fixed plan beforehand. Which he would have kept to. He may have thought Nevill was sufficiently negated.

Shooting 4 people before going downstairs to re load is a decent tactic.

Bamber can't afford to be sloppy. He has to be on him straight away.

If Nevill had gotten out of the property. That's a potential recipe for calamity and Bamber getting discovered.

The fixed plan would have been to end Nevill in his bedroom. He did not expect a six foot 4 16 stone guy to get to his feet and get downstairs after 4 gunshots. It's obvious something went wrong. After that it's just a case of ending Nevill by any means nessecary. Quickly and effectively

Out of the main bedroom door. Bamber still in the room.

Out of the main bedroom door. Bamber not in the room. 

Out of the box room door. Bamber still in the room.

CAL believes in the second one. Although has Nevill following Bamber downstairs.

I don't think Bamber not being in the room is feasible personally.

I am leaning toward Bamber being brushed aside by Nevill due to the latters strength.

Also had Bamber turned his attention to June it gives Nevill a chance to go through the main door had Bamber being stood elsewhere in the bedroom.

Nevill may be able to get outside though. Depends how quick Nevill was.

Only person who did the following would be Bamber, going after Nevill

It's a long rifle, it's a bedroom area space.

They may have even tussled for the rifle in the bedroom had Nevill grabbed it. Nevill then managing to throw Bamber out of the way.

Agree, had the area been wider range he may have shot at him further.
