Bamber's 15 minute estimation via The Sea Wall is a good one.

No point spending 140+ minutes on a round trip walking The Sea Wall route, when it can be cycled in 30 minutes.

No point spending 90 -116+ minutes on a round trip walk of either of the 2 Brook House Farm routes. When it can be cycled in 18 & 14 minutes.  These routes don't even avoid properties.

Walking across fields is not possible.

Hello Adam I have been away for a few days, digging in, retract what is all this?

I have not yet found a cyclist who would cycle full pelt over rough tracks in total darkness. I have not given up yet some of the chaps have really expensive bikes no chucking these over styles! I hope Kk unloads all his astro gear before he chucks his bike over!

I hope I have not got to wade through a load of poisoned posts have I to find out what I have missed?

The other 3 routes will take too long to walk. Two of them pass multiple properties. Cycling would be the only option.

So at night on rough terrain with no lights would be at lot less than 10 mph.

Why? I walk across fields when footpaths have been ploughed over. A problem for a bike no problem if walking.

Maybe too long but not too tiring, 4 miles walking is nothing.
