You'd be very unlucky to get a puncture cycling along footpaths/bridleways and byways.

I cycle all the time along byways and bridleways, often on long forgotten bridleways too, which are overgrown, and still manage to get across in one piece.  It is rare to get a puncture.

Jeremy Bamber would have been unlucky to get a puncture that night, but if he had, I reckon he would have just given up.  Had he got a puncture he may have decided not to murder his family.

What is more telling though, is that Bamber supporters are so willing to make a statement that they know has no relationship with the truth.  It shows that they are willing to just make stuff up to make a story fit with their innocence scenario.

They wouldn't have to do any of that if there was any actual evidence that showed Jeremy Bamber to be innocent.  They know that there is overwhelming evidence to show that Jeremy Bamber is guilty, and that Sheila is innocent.

And so they lie.  And they even lie when they don't need to.

Hardy Boy's video has someone cycling The Sea Wall. Wilkinson & Gunfire Graffiti also cycled it and did not report a puncture.

Cross country Mountain bike competitions have the bikes going over rough uneven terrain at high speed without getting a puncture. June's bike could handle level farm tracks.

If he got a puncture on the way back, he would have to carry the bike back. Or dump it somewhere. But as you said, very unlucky if he got one.

You need to visit it Adam.

I am doing so.

You don't need to visit the Brook  House Farm cycle route. Most of that is covered by Google Maps 3D. It is 100% roads.

You don't need to walk across fields. There will be a way although hard work.

Satisfied the terrain of the prosecution route is fine to cycle. But nothing wrong with more photos or video footage.  Hopefully you cover the whole route unlike Yvonne and Phillip. The farm track adjoining The Sea Wall & Pages Lane will be interesting.

For me people can travel in outside darkness quite easily in areas they know. However it needs to be visited at night to confirm it is empty.

Be good to know about the left turning Farm Track off The Sea Wall around 300 yards before the prosecutions left turn. This goes to Pages Lane and avoids Wyke Farm.  Could it be cycled.

Need to add that information regarding the route from 9, Head Street to the start of The Sea Wall would be interesting. Via his back garden.

This looks straight forward & avoids properties. Jane said Thistley Close and some of Fish Street were not there in 1985.

Am aware of that.

Just trying to ensure your feedback covers everything.

Yvonne and Philips feedback was disappointing.

There was someone who walked past the house around midnight and Bamber's car was still there. That's not to say he didn't use it a couple of hours later, but it would have been a huge risk.

Where did you read that Steve? But also, how would someone remember seeing his car on the drive? Bamber wasn't a suspect until weeks later so no one would have been asked about him or his car until a time when he was being investigated.

ILB disputes anything that goes against Bamber. That is fine. People have different tactics regarding support.

This month he denied there is a farm track adjoining The Sea Wall and Pages Lane. Even though it's been the prosecution route for 39 years & Google Maps Satellite shows it! He only agreed it was there after realising it could benefit him due to Bamber (maybe) having to cycle past Wyke Farm.

However I have faith he will provide good photos. No point taking photos of fields with poor terrain and then saying he couldn't cycle it. Everyone knows the prosecution route is on foot/cycle paths and farm tracks.

Appendix 1 Carol Ann Lee:

Jeremy telephoned Julie from Bourtree Cottage around 10pm. He sounded "pissed off", telling her: "I've been thinking on the tractor and the crime will have to be tonight or never." Aware that he was referring to killing his entire family, Julie told him not to be stupid-he was just fed up because he had been stuck on the tractor all day. They spoke for about twenty minutes. He told her she might hear from him later, athough Julie "thought nothing of this."

Jeremy later described how, after ending the call, he had something to eat and drink and watched television before going to bed around 11:30pm. None of his neighbours heard anything from him. A local car valet who knew Jeremy by sight took a stroll around the village about midnight after drinking in the Chequers; he noticed a number of cars outside Bourtree Cottage, including Jeremy's Astra, but couldn't remember if any lights were on inside the property.
