Hardy Boy's video does show The Sea Wall is in am open area. Meaning good ambient light.

You confirm my point that we can use our eyes to see In the daylight.

Thanks Adam.

You can also use your eyes in open area outside darkness.

Although Bamber would automatically know the route.

Cycling at 2am  in complete darkness

Anyway let's stay respectful, time will tell

Can only assume you believe you could cycle outside where you live in darkness. Ditto me where I live.

Not on a farm track. Which I undertook on Tuesday evening ( albeit walking )

On the road, it's difficult to say. Unless in a powercut situation. The roads have plenty of street lighting.

I live in a city, the bright lights in the distance didn't give much help in the slightest.

As for ambient light, a total non starter.

Also made a short video.

Having trouble uploading to the forum. Keeps saying timed out as said to you yesterday.

I don't think there will be much ambient light going from Goldhanger to D'Arcy. Maldon will be too far behind you to borrow it's light. You'll just have to hope for a good moon.

In fairness a country farm track in Sheffield will differ in comparison to goldhanger. One in 2024 one in 1985.

Why not on a farm track. Were there 6 foot pot holes all over the place?

Just seems a lot of pissing around to be honest the sea wall. He had a brand new astra on his driveway.

Just because Adam sees driving as a risk doesn't mean Bamber did.

Was bad surface sludgy. And up until recently we've have excellent weather up here.

Landrover tracks marks

Uneven surface.

Surrounded by shrubbery narrow.

In fairness I have the advantage of knowing the landscape from childhood.  Built dens when I was a kid there.

Walking it took time, visibility was poor none existant.

Cycling would just not be feasible.

Guess the prosecution and defence were wrong then.

Hardy's video showed perfectly adequate terrain. On the Sea Wall.

The person was cycling it!

GG said once his eyes got used to the ambient light it was 'so easy to see'.

But you would not accept that.

No point ILB posting a video of a random place of his choosing.

However a video of when he visits The Sea Wall will be useful.
