Lots of problems with the path at the moment.

Bamber and RB both dismissed despite being local

Adam saying it was cycle friendly. Others disagreeing.

Adam says that Bamber going through three farm houses is ," not risky "

Despite dogs, spotlights, security cameras, people.

Adam says Bamber " ditched the bike somewhere down the lane in pitch black " and after went to retrieve it in pitch black darkness.

Please don't say pitch black.

That is when you are in a lift with no light.

It was outside darkness.

You know this.

Uneven surface.

That's it abort the cycle ride. The surface is uneven.

Yep we now agree Adam! the cycle is a total red herring it never happened.

I think JB would go on foot, but keep a open mind on driving as ILB believes.

The obstacles today -

Trees.

Uneven tracks.

Potential barking dogs.

Floodlights.

Bamber forgetting where he left the bike.

Farm workers at 2am.

The Pages Lane 2am Tuesday night bike thief.

Not a case of after the event.

Beforehand it is too risky. Just takes one person out of 90. Or 2,3....

Or one security camera.

No need to take the risk as he had a perfectly adequate cycle route.

Agree he went via the sea wall sounds better than he jumped in the motor. Clever narrative.

I cycle on uneven surfaces every day. Potholes as well. While simultaneously cycling through traffic.

The Sea Wall route would be very easy for me. Providing I knew the way.

Lucky they had the option. Unlucky for Bamber.

What is that? sometimes in a area of heavy light pollution and clouds you can see a bit but not that much?

Bamber coming out of his cottage and again out of WHF would be a problem as it takes a while for the eyes to become adapted to the night anyway.

Security camera's back then wouldn't have even been a thought. People were lucky to even have an alarm system. WHF didn't even have one.

Another problem for Bamber -

It would take him a few seconds to adapt to outside darkness.

And there was me thinking it was just a 20 minute cycle ride to where he worked.

Have you cycled on a rutted farm track?

Do you avoid the potholes in daylight or at night? do you have lights or are you just using the Moon?

Another lie Adam? It could take up to 20 minutes for the eyes to become fully light adapted and by that time Bamber would be flat on his face in a pile of dung.

Rutted farm track?

Bikes are designed to go over potholes. Up kerbs, even over uneven surfaces.

But a rutted farm track sounds like a job for Indiana Jones.

20 minutes.

Wow. Do they not go outside after 3pm in the country?

I have struggled in a 4x4 on some farm tracks, please tell me which bikes are designed to go over potholes I would like to buy one?

Seems Bamber had night vision goggles.
