As far as I can see the only public right of way would be via Lauriston and Wycke farms? the route you are suggesting is not on a complete public right of way so it's condition at any point in time could greatly vary?

If you don't want to be serious and just time waste please don't reply.

We both agree the paths were wide. As tractors go down them.

I don't agree that a tractor going down a path would mean you can't cycle down it.

At the moment am sticking with the prosecution route. But would like to know more about the left turn just before there.

It is not a path it is a track used by farm vehicles, not a problem if on foot but hopeless on a cycle at night.

As far as the 3 Pages Walk properties go. Bamber's options are -

Cycle through Pages Lane past them. Take 5 - 10 seconds.

Cycle behind the small property.

Take the earlier left turn pathway which goes past these properties.

As said, Bamber's choice.

I don't agree with that.

A tractor is a vehicle with wheels. No reason why a bike could go on the same terrain.

Do you think the Prosecution were wrong to say he cycled The Sea Wall?

No, because it's a possibility.

Adam knows Bamber if gulity drove.

The prosecution used it as a clever narrativem

Do you agree he could have brought the bike over so Julie could cycle to the bus station?

I think it's pretty sad that someone has now spent close to 40 years in jail and we are struggling to find a plausible route that can be cycled in the dark.

My job means I sometimes spend a lot of time working at night so I know how tricky simple tasks can be yet you have him screaming along rutted tracks in total darkness.

Rob made a good point. The gaps between fields are partly for tractors.

I did say the cycle path looks as wide as a car.

The Sea Wall route passed no properties.

You think he chugged along in his car past 90 people & security cameras. Each to there own.

In 1985? Security cameras? He wasn't driving a vintage car that backfired every two seconds. No one would have thought twice about a car on the road - who (other than the police) reported seeing him journey to WHF after his call to the police? The neighbours didn't hear him leave and who picked him up on a camera?

Screaming?

He cycled for 20 minutes. Between where he lived and where he worked/was brought up.

Lots of problems with the path at the moment.

Bamber and RB both dismissed despite being local

Adam saying it was cycle friendly. Others disagreeing.

Adam says that Bamber going through three farm houses is ," not risky "

Despite dogs, spotlights, security cameras, people.

Adam says Bamber " ditched the bike somewhere down the lane in pitch black " and after went to retrieve it in pitch black darkness.

I don't agree with that.

A tractor is a vehicle with wheels. No reason why a bike could go on the same terrain.

Because the tracks from the tractor cause an uneven surface.

Not a case of after the event.

Beforehand it is too risky. Just takes one person out of 90. Or 2,3....

Or one security camera.

No need to take the risk as he had a perfectly adequate cycle route.

Uneven surface.

That's it abort the cycle ride. The surface is uneven.
