Ok, so gets home nobody knows when, the launders his bloody clothes, including drying them and the phones the police?  Does he put them away after drying them or are they still in the dryer. Did he even have a dryer? Was there a dryer at WHF?  Who knows eh.

He probably just put them in the wardrobe, showered and put on new clothes. Unlike David Bain, who started the washing machine.

D'ya think he only had one set of clothes to wear, Roch? If it was a washer/dryer he could have programmed it to go onto the drying cycle. If it was only a washer, he'd have left it where it was. He was hardly going to draw attention to it by telling the police to stop their questions while he got the washing out, especially as it was unlikely they'd have known it was on. I really can't think you can see any problems in this.

It is common practice to put clothes away after they have been washed.

Indeed, who even cares? No one noticed anything amiss. He wasn't a suspect so no one was looking for it. I guess it's safe to say he got away with it. Of all the things which might deserve further consideration, I don't think his laundry is one such.

I guess it's safe to say there is absolutely no evidence he laundered, dried or disposed of clothes.  Presumably that's why Mugford never mentioned any of his clothes being missing. No animals tore any bags open. No dog walkers or farmers came across any discarded or stashed clothes. Eaton & co never noticed any machines full of laundry or clothes drying on the line.

Just think it's daft. One minute it's a meticulous plan that leaves no evidence. The next he is impulsive, lacking control and making mistakes.  The guilt narrative is any story whatsoever, to fit with guilt.  Goal posts are about five miles wide.

Possibly, but where, in the sink?  How has he got all this time, to walk over fields home and wash everything?  If he stashed anything at the farm, he was under surveillance wasn't he? Prior to that, the relatives had the keys didn't they?
