Hope you called in on Wrabness. Beautiful beach area on the River Stour opposite the lovey grounds of the Hospital School. Don't forget your 'noculars. Some worthwhile bird watching.
Yes we did Jane, the Grandaughters used to go Crabbing there.

Yes, I'll do that Jane. Do you think there's a difference between spending a holiday in a place and settling there for good? I ask this because some time ago a work colleague had applied for a promotion in Cornwall, but withdrew when he overheard someone remark they accepted outsiders "after a few years".
Sometimes you have to take risks Steve, i personally think you would love the area.  From Kings Lynn to Hunstanton was beautiful, travelling through Sandringham.  then along the Coast to Sheringham and Cromer.  Youv'e got the Broads with all that wildlife and the Bure Valley Railway.  The Traffic is very calm compared to Cornwall, i spent ages on roads and hardly seen any Traffic.

Going to Lanzarote for a week on Sunday, love the place, love the atmphoshere. By the fifth day I"ll long for the north of England

I don't know, take the boy out England can't take England out of the boy mentality

Same as any abroad holiday I take, and I go two or three or times a year
If yesterday you hated me. Then today you can not stop the love that binds from me to you. And you to me

In theory an Englishman has the world at his feet. But in practice there are always drawbacks.

Can't beat the simple bliss of a Monday afternoon in England when it's pissing it down.

Nothing closer to my heart

It seems many coastal areas will be underwater by 2050: https://www.msn.com/en-gb/travel/news/we-live-in-uk-s-mini-venice-that-floods-every-year-nobody-bothers-buying-carpets/ar-AA1iBz35?ocid=msedgntp&cvid=8d0057520d8e42b39773bb80c1dd1044&ei=29

I think I missed my way. I would far rather have become a librarian, like Philip Larkin. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/uk-government-keeping-files-on-teaching-assistants-and-librarians-internet-activity/ar-AA1iBIn8?ocid=msedgntp&cvid=6328ac6ee779453c9b1d9dba1af644b1&ei=12
My Brothers house has got 5 feet of water in it after the heavy rains yesterday and today.  They're having to live upstairs till rescue can get to them.
