Yes, check out the Julie Mugford thread. She looks like a different person. Pretty. And a bit relieved.

Shona it looks like one of those fixed smiles photographers get people to do and I think it's bad taste to publicise the wedding in that area where a lot of local people who know the family that died

She's plainly not ashamed of what she had done and had a nice little nestegg to start off the marriage with

Getting married locally might have bee her final act of revenge because JB might hear about it

I wonder what the in laws thought of their sons catch

I will never get over her behaviour either way lying or telling the truth

All I can do is agree with what certain people have said about you, Jack. You have helped JB so much, and brought his case into the highest profile. Whatever the outcome, you have truly done your best. We'll never come to the same conclusion, but because of all your hard work, I almost hope that you get what you want. 26 years is the best part of anyone's life. I hope, for your sake, that you're right.

What kind sentiments, shona. +1 for this.

Perhaps she'd just been to the toilet?

Concerning Mugford marriage photo. First thing that came to my mind was my Shakespeare. "A man (read woman) may smile and smile and be a villain"

Eaton Punched Ralph Bamber over Land deal dodge

See police action report on matter:-

This is an extract from Shaw's 'An Innocent Man' (in red) which is clearly inaccurate as he is attempting (as Mike has previously done) to imply that this police action report relates to Peter Eaton, where as in reality that is not true in any shape or form.

What was also kept very hush-hush by the family was that Ann’s husband, Peter, had punched Nevill in the face prior to the killings, after a heated argument regarding a contentious land deal. The references to this incident are contained in Police Action Report 1113: ‘(Peter) Eaton punching Nevill Bamber.’

This is the same Peter Eaton who would be investigated by Essex police for allegedly stealing and selling farm equipment belonging to the Company N & J Bamber Ltd after Jeremy was arrested and prior to settlement of the Bamber estate.

Is there another thread with this report?  I remember reading it and apologising to PE as I had assumed it was he who had punched Nevill, but I can't locate it anywhere!

I always thought it was Robert Boutflour. But now I have no opinion because everybody has been accused of it.

Hi HM, yes that's quite right you did. Your post is below, click the post to go to the thread in which it is contained.

Well, if it was in fact John Eaton who punched Nevill and not Peter then I, for one, apologise to Peter to having assumed wrongly it was him.  And I do remember reading this  :-[

I wonder, though, why a statement was not taken considering the seriousness of the investigation - should have been "no stone unturned" to coin a phrase.
