There are so many conflicting stories reference Bambers lifestyles in 1985.

He was a party boy who loved drinking

He hardly touched alcohol

He was stoned off his head on cannabis all the time

He smoked very lightly

He hated farming

He took a keen interest and was easy to deal with

He travelled extensively in top class hotels

He stayed with Brett in a caravan

He was devious, he scared me

Very easy to get on with. Got on with him better than my own son

If yesterday you hated me. Then today you can not stop the love that binds from me to you. And you to me

He hated his parents

He loved his father

Him and Shelias relationship was none existant.

He drove Shelia home from the party

He was selfish and thought of nobody. But himself

He looked after his friends

How can one draw any correct inference? Except just surmise
If yesterday you hated me. Then today you can not stop the love that binds from me to you. And you to me

We can't rely on the sources

All contradict

The boutflours were against Bamber from the start. All the touchy feely hugs were soon evaporated into a cloud of suspicion

My view is I think RWB had an axe to grind with nevill.

Regardless of guilt or innocence was this his chance to finally capitalize?

We are not privy to this aspect. RWB recounts a warm relationship. I don't think it was so warm

We never got Nevills point of view
Was he a grieving relative or an opportunist?

These are not pie in the sky. They have to be asked

There is an obvious coldness towards Jeremy. It can't be overlooked

Hi Rob,I have read the logs and Mikes explanations of them, however I cant quite get my head round them,ie when the call started and were passed on etc.It seems to be quite clear to Mike that there was two calls, one from JB and one from Nevill, but I simply dont understand it yet.I will study the subject some more and see if I can muster up the brain power to get to the bottom of the logs issue. If you read Mikes explanation about them it may make things clear Rob.

No rush Snow, I was curious on what you thought I know you will give an impartial opinion.

Hi Rob,As well as reading Mikes explanation again and listening to the podcast about the logs,I think I am finally beginning to get all the details and arguments about them in my head.I will give my opinion soon, for what it is worth.

Hi Dave,nice morning.Please correct me.

While Sheila took the gun upstairs to shoot June. Nevill rang Jeremy. Nevil ended the call and ran upstairs as he heard shots being fired. Sheila had fired five shots at June. She then pivoted and shot Nevill with the remaining four bullets in the magazine as Nevill came up the stairs.

One shell casing was found a few steps down the landing. I believe three of the shell casings from shots fired a Nevil bounced off the wall, while one went passed the door frame onto the landing area. As the reconstruction below illustrates

Thanks Dave, that makes perfect sense and accounts for where the casings were found. But that means all phone calls must have been made by then.Do you believe Nevill also phoned the police?

David, among many others, doesn't believe that Nevill made the call to the police. I do and always have done because of the fact that when JB tried to call his father back, after his father's first call, the line was engaged.

Hopefully Snow66! has not forgotten his third Sheila scenario.

He agrees my Bamber scenario fits like a glove & he can't create a Sheila scenario. Why? Because 4 bullet cartridges were moved by EP into the bedroom.

Snow66! has not said why EP did this or why Nevill would not be shot in/by his bed at 2am.

However I have generously allowed him to create a third Sheila scenario where he can put 4 cartridges in locations of his choosing
